Hi lakrsrool! You were right on about the security software. I'm running Peerblock and that was the cause of the problem. As soon as I disabled it I was able to reach the Yahoo servers. Is there a way I can still use Peerblock without having to disable it and still be able to reach the Yahoo servers...

Doesn't work for me with either the IMAP or Yahoo settings (see my above post). It's stuck on either connecting (imap) or invalid username or password (yahoo). How do I fix this?

Just to clarify what is happening. If I use imap it's stuck on "connecting." Error message is "bad connection." Tried the Oauth2 thing and it says I'm all set after doing the manual setup through the dialogue prompts, but I still can't get the mail from any Yahoo account. If I us...

Me too. Error for all three of my accounts "check your login name and password." I tried Yahoo and also using the IMAP settings. With IMAP I get stuck on connecting.

Argh, I missed that instruction about the .ini file being copied over. Well, I did it and immediately got "pop peeper has stopped working" when I try to launch it after I copied over the .ini file. I just deleted it and the program is working again. I guess it's moot since I guess I lost t...

Hi Jeff! I was just able to find an older version of pop peeper and download it. I believe the version I had and the version I downloaded was 3.8.1. I'm having the same problem and it just started today. Any solutions?

Edit: found solution. Tools / options/ direct connection to internet (don't use - "use registry configuration").
