There are a few such examples in the wild about this error (and specific to Outlook/smtp), but the OP never seemed to follow-up, which might suggest that the error cleared up on its own. "Account locked" seems ominous; "contact administrator" sounds like it's for non-free address...

When you open your email client, presumably you have TB set to delete messages from your server. It's this absence of the messages that causes POP Peeper to change from the yellow (unread messages) icon to the empty mailbox. You need to enable advanced options first:
- main menu: Tools / Options / General; enable "Advanced options" on the top-right; press OK
Edit each of your accounts and go to the "Advanced" page on the left and you'll be able to change its email client.

Oauth isn't currently enabled, indicated in the log: "[oauth: 0]". You can try enabling Oauth2 (edit account in PP, change "password" to "Oauth2" next to your login name), but I can tell you that I get several errors on my Hotmail accounts each day (using oauth2), and t...

Thanks for including that screenshot, I suspected you may have disabled the "change icon when checking for mail" (reason below), but wouldn't have guessed "tray icon reflects unread instead of new" -- these could all be potential factors for your original issue, as you mentioned....

"Set Location" is expected to be empty when you open it.
Try using a different location (e.g. New York or Los Angeles) and see if weather works for that location. Assuming it does, try a location *near* you but not the same.

Just got an email that it should be resolved and it looks like Aeris updated at least 28 minutes ago for me.
And, yes, this was for *current* weather. Forecast/hourly had a separate issue that was resolved yesterday.

For forecast weather, NWS was reporting the following: "An error occurred. The information you are requesting is unavailable until 01/01/2024 due to a known technical issue." And, sure enough, forecasting did start working on Jan 01. But current weather seems to be stuck on Dec 27. I have ...
