Re: Office 365
This was the first document I came across when looking into this topic. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/clients-and-mobile-in-exchange-online/pop3-and-imap4/pop3-and-imap4 It states " If you've enabled security defaults in your organization, POP3 and IMAP4 are automatically disabled ...

Office 365
I did some searching of the forums about connecting to Office 365 and all of the threads are pretty old. I did some testing today. First, the server name to use is outlook.office365.com. I saw some recommendations to use DavMail. This bridges IMAP or POP to Exchange Web Services. Use of 64-bit DavMa...

User Flag Server Sync
If I set a message as "flagged" in my email client, then this status is visible in the email client on my other computer. If I set a user flag in POP Peeper, it appears that the flag is only set locally on that instance. It would be very nice if the flag status could be synced to the serve...

Re: Tray email count
Also: POP Peeper displays the same new/unread/total statistics in the status bar (bottom) of the main window; the values should be identical when PP is viewing *All Accounts*. These numbers reflect the overall statistics, including hidden messages and messages in disabled accounts. This behavior to...

Re: Add Support for SSL Certificates
Any chance this might make it into a release this year? It sucks that I can't safely use POP Peeper when I am traveling.

Re: Add Support for SSL Certificates
Thanks for the update. That's a good tip about using OAuth. I do hope this gets attention soon. Security may not be sexy, but it has an important purpose.

Re: View and HTML Zoom
I have a Surface Pro 4 running at 250 DPI and was originally excited to see in the release notes that PP had added proper support for DPI scaling. However, I was very disappointed when I saw the results. Not only is the HTML super tiny, but the buttons don't render properly. While setting the HTML z...

Re: Add Support for SSL Certificates
Has any consideration been given to this? It would be awesome to see this security hole closed up.

Re: More Involved Management of "Read" Status for IMAP
I tried out PP 4.1 RC1 today and can confirm that IMAP read status is working as desired in PP. Thanks so much for implementing this! This will provide a huge improvement in how PP integrates with my other devices.

Add Support for SSL Certificates
A while back I was using airport WiFi and the Pop Peeper icon turned yellow. I opened up a web browser and saw why. The public WiFi was redirecting me to a terms and conditions page and would not let any traffic out until I agreed. When I opened the Thunderbird email client, it alerted me that the c...

More Involved Management of "Read" Status for IMAP
Right now, if I understand correctly, POP Peeper's management of IMAP "read" status is fairly basic. The option "Use 'Read' status from server on initial retrieval" will mark the message as read in POP Peeper if the message is marked as read on the server at the time POP Pepper d...
