Nothing helps... I experimented with PP a lot, I even unchecked the SSL verification button hoping to instruct it NOT to check for a verification. I paused Malwarebytes, Avast, Windows Firewall. I rebooted the computer and the router several times. I even updated the wifi adapter driver. No luck. Thank you mjs. Problem with the Hotmail accounts is solved. But the POP3 account still gives me an error.
Very frustrating since this is a business account and cannot reply to customers.

Same situation after disabling the Avast "Mail Shield". Restarting Pop Peeper didn't make any difference. Same email was successfully sent using a web browser but not through Pop Peeper. Email provider (netfirms) does not support SSL on port 465 so I am using NO SSL on port 587. I can send...

I recently formatted my Windows 10 pc and reinstalled POP Peeper Pro v5.2.2
I have a complete drive C backup and I need to know if there is a folder that Pop Peeper saves the address book. I need my addresses back...
If so, would a copy/paste of that file add these addresses to the new installation?

Your last suggestion worked like a charm! The only thing that I changed is that I used port 993 (instead of 995 that you suggested - I guess it was a mistype?)

Two out of three hotmail accounts return an error (user authenticated but not connected).
Pop Peeper 4.4.0.0
Webmail 4.4.7.0
SSL 1.0.2.8
IMAP 4.4.0.0
SendMail 4.4.0.0
Profile Picture 4.3.0.0

Is there a way to create a signature inserting it automatically each time we reply to a message?

Problem fixed.
As you said, the problem was on my end.
One last question though: IS it better to have Hotmail accounts configured as IMAP or as Hotmail/Outlook?

All Accounts: Unknown Host

Three Hotmail accounts all set as IMAP and another one set as POP3 give me an "Unknown Host" error this morning.
All plugins are current.
