Re: [BUG] Sorting View of Emails by Account Name Ignore Password Protected Accounts
hm, yes, well... that sounds like a very personal use-case... Perhaps there is another feature that may help, though -- on a per-account basis, you can hide messages from the *All Accounts* list so that you only see those account's messages when you view the account; you can also hide the read messa...

Re: [BUG] Sorting View of Emails by Account Name Ignore Password Protected Accounts
It seems kind of silly to follow the Account list in the left side, when I want to control the account list on the right side. Re-ordering the accounts list affects a lot of things (e.g. the dropdown box above the message list that lets you select the account to view). If everything were ordered di...

Re: [BUG] Sorting View of Emails by Account Name Ignore Password Protected Accounts
Oh, here's an idea -- have you re-ordered the accounts in the account list? Sorting by accounts does not necessarily follow alphanumeric ordering, it follows the order that they are listed in the Accounts List:

Re: [BUG] Sorting View of Emails by Account Name Ignore Password Protected Accounts
I'm not able to duplicate any issue with this. Here are 2 screenshots that show what happens to me (ie. as expected). Screenshot #1 is sorted by date/time and screenshot #2 is sorted by account. Re: Icon tray notification
I'm not sure I understand your question -- Snarl is not what I would consider an "icon" notification. But most similar to the snarl plugin is the [url=https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/plugins/#SkinNotifierskin notifier[/url], and there are about 100 different skins available fo...

Re: Outlook mail + 2FA = "account doesn’t exist"
I'm fairly certain that "modern authentication" is Outlook's description of "Oauth2". "2FA" actually means 2-factor authentication, and is more along the lines of an email/text/authenticator code. That type of authentication isn't practical for email clients which need ...

Re: message not listed on server
POP Peeper usually removes messages not on the server automatically, but there are 2 exceptions: 1) You've disabled that setting (edit account: "Advanced" page, "remove messages not on server" is enabled by default) 2) POP Peeper may not remove messages while you have a view-mess...

Re: Why The Need To Keep Resetting OAuth Accounts?
Glad you found the culprit. My guess is that AVG takes a little more time to initialize when it wakes up and so nothing is allowed through until it's ready.

Re: Will POP Peeper ever have a preview pane?
I would eventually like to see a preview pane myself. It would be optional, because there was a time when I refused to use preview panes and I'm sure there are still people that prefer the more traditional windows. Actually, I still prefer the separate window, but when I'm doing a search and want to...

Drop me an email if you're interested in testing Oauth -- I'd like to have more confirmation before v5.1 officially releases.

Re: Outlook mail + 2FA = "account doesn’t exist"
What type of account is it? ie. is it a free @outlook.com account or is it provided through an organization? If it's an organization, this may work in v5.1 -- changes have been made that look promising but the final verdict hasn't been confirmed yet, and I could use more volunteers to test that, if ...

Re: Yahoo Ending Forwarding HELP!
My guess is that there is a minimum interval that gmail will check your external accounts, but perhaps it will delay it if its servers are too busy or something. Or maybe gmail learns when you're more likely to receive email and checks more often during those times. :| But, glad you found a solution!

Re: German umlauts, UTF-8 declaration missing?
I've sent this to ohaaho via email, but in case anyone else is interested in a stopgap solution (until unicode is supported), v5.1 will allow you to specify the character set when POP Peeper would otherwise leave it empty (POP Peeper does specify a character set in certain situations, but not for us...

Re: German umlauts, UTF-8 declaration missing?
OEC is correct. The base problem is that POP Peeper doesn't support unicode, and is more complicated than simply declaring a utf-8 charset in the header. However, this is already (finally) being worked on, so it will be addressed.

Can you email me (support at esumsoft dot com, or use the contact form) and we'll look into this; although I'm taking this week off so I may not be able to help troubleshoot until next week.

Re: Rules - Actions
Ok, this will be fixed in the next update (current is v5.0.3). Thanks for reporting this! I was on the right track with the dark/light colors -- there was a bad calculation that ignored a certain range of colors. This affects both fore- and background colors, so if you weren't seeing it with the for...

Re: Rules - Actions
I'm testing this and I haven't gotten too deep into it, but I wanted to report that there does seem to be an issue with the background color -- some colors just don't work, but others do. For example, of the preset colors, the first 4 (after black) seem to work (the dark red, green, yellow, blue, an...

Re: Pop Peeper keeps losing track of email accounts
As for installing POP Peeper where you want -- this already exists. There's a zip archive available on the download page which most people use when they want to use custom installs; but the executable installer also supports installing POP Peeper where you want, you just need to select the custom in...
