It appears that Microsoft has made some changes. I'm getting OAuth2 errors.
It started with one Outlook / Hotmail, then progressed to more.
I've tried reauthorizing, and even opening a browser to see if there is a captcha blocking it, but no success.
I think the ads that are being implemented into Outlook.com accounts are going to cause problems for POP Peeper in the future.
The silly thing about it is that the ads are for Microsoft 365, which I already have.
As I mentioned, Outlook is not pushing any notifications. I don't use Outlook as a primary account, so I can't really say how long it's been this way, but I suspect that it would coincide with about the same time that you started having problems with POP Peeper not removing messages that have been ...
The problem seems to be fixed. I'll give it more time to be sure. So then, it isn't actually fixed after all? There are two issues which I thought may be related. The original issue was the one with the email staying visible in POP Peeper's inbox when deleted from Microsoft Outlook. This issue may ...
Thanks for that info, mjs. Push is working for you, but not me. I don't know what to think about that, unless if Microsoft are progressively working on some changes. I looked to see if there is some sort of setting for push in my Microsoft account settings, but I couldn't see anything. The push func...
The problem seems to be fixed. I'll give it more time to be sure. I have a question that may be related to this same issue. Shouldn't "Push" make POP Peeper see a new email immediately regardless of the periodic check that POP Peeper does? I'm pretty sure it used to. In fact, I think it us...
I'm sorry to say that this problem is now worse than before. Prior to the upgrade to 5.4.2, this problem only occurred occasionally. Now all my emails Outlook emails are stuck in the POP Peeper inbox. Edit 1: I did another Check Mail, and they're now gone. I'll monitor the situation. Edit 2: There i...
Thanks. As mentioned, this should be fixed in v5.4.2; and -- as of today -- it is available in the early release which is available to POP Peeper Pro users. If you have Pro, go to main menu: Tools / PPtweaker / troubleshooting to enable it. Then go to main menu: help / about and press "check v...

If you right-click on the account and select "check mail" do the deleted messages disappear? If so, then this may be a known issue that should be fixed in the next version (it has to do with idling accounts).

Next time it happens, I'll do that and see if the email disappears.
The emails that remain in POP Peeper after deleting them from Outlook never disappear, even after numerous mail checks.
I just simply delete them from POP Peeper.
I don't see it as a big issue. It's just a minor annoyance that I thought I would report.
I have noticed lately that if I delete an email from Microsoft Outlook that they still sometimes display in the POP Peeper inbox.
Is there any obvious reason for this?
I would say that there's a good chance that sending in html will be included in v5.0; at least basic formatting like bold, italics, color, fonts and I would like to include inline images. Does that cover what you would expect to see as far as html formatting? Hi Jeff. I know this thread is a bit ol...
Thanks for your input, lakrsrool. Hi Jeff. All on the same LAN. I tried re-authorizing my Microsoft accounts again now, and this time I had to enter my backup email address for some of my accounts so I could be sent a code to enter in before I could re-authorize. I will see if that somehow fixes the...
The need to keep authorizing my Microsoft accounts has become a real pain.
If I switch to my laptop, I am required to re-authorize. When I re-authorize my laptop, it will require me to re-authorize my desktop, and so on.
I am just back and forwards re-authorizing. It is making me tired.
