Re: Yahoo mail send problem error
It appears that you are correct. Disabled mail shield in the program and I was able to send yahoo emails with attachments without getting the error msg. (FYI: Disabling shields at the task bar icon did not fix the problem.)
Great, thank you.

Re: Yahoo mail send problem error
Settings are the same as yours. security apps - I Avast Premium-it is always updating files and versions. Tried disabled but problem continues. Does this issue (error) occur only when sending a specific type of attachment? - doesn't seem to make any difference what I attach. What are the steps you t...

Re: PP not starting at startup.
Working now. 1 Removed "run as admin" from poppeeper.exe 2 Moved ini to C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Roaming\POP Peeper\ (also had to do step #4 for PP to load at startup) 3 Checked "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" and "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\W...

Re: PP not starting at startup.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" has other working startups but not pop peeper. I have not tried adding PP yet pending a reply from Jeff. PP is listed, enabled and checked in starter with user run. Also not listed in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SO...

Re: PP not starting at startup.
I am thinking this is related to the 4.5.3.0 update. After update, I had to elevate poppeeper.exe to run as admin because "accounts" edits were not being saved. I noticed the starting problem about the same time. Maybe uninstall and reinstall is the next step. To be sure, saving the data f...

Re: PP not starting at startup.
Windows Task Manager has the PP entry.
I ran sfc /scannow as admin b4 (now in powershell in Win10) and just ran it again to be sure. No integrity violations.
Problem continues.

Re: PP not starting at startup.
Also after 4.5.3.0 update, I had to change poppeeper.exe "run as admin" because I was no longer able to edit "accounts" and save it.

PP not starting at startup.
PP 4.5.3.0 in Windows 10 LTSC no longer starts at boot. PP is listed and checked in startup. PP had been auto starting until recently and this problem may be related to the recent update to 4.5.3.0. PP works correctly when manually started. Also after 4.5.3.0 update, I had to change poppeeper.exe &q...

Re: Windows 7 to 10 update now PP has strange problems
Your "IF (and ONLY IF) the answer to the storage location is that it starts out with "C:\Program Files (x86)" solution seems to have fixed all of my problem by moving the ini file to appData.
Thank you.

Windows 7 to 10 update now PP has strange problems
Recently did the Win 7 to Win 10 upgrade. PoPPeeper 4.2.2 has been doing strange things ever since. 1 Sent msgs go out but PP no longer saves the sent messages and gives an error msg. 2 New msg come in and are highlighted, but PP no longer shows the new unread messages after closing and re-opening P...

Thanks Jeff.
I have Avast Internet Security Premier and you are correct.
It can be set on/off or whitelisted under "Antispam" in active protection.

***SPAM*** indicator
The ***SPAM*** indicator is highly inaccurate. It has far more wrong than correct hits. I don't know how to tell it that something or a site isn't spam or simply just a way to turn it off. Am I missing something in my non pro version?
