It seems that the new POP Peeper (I'm using v4.1 Beta 3) does not allow the space character at the beginning of an account name. I use spaces to adjust the sort order of the account name list (adding a space brings an account to the top) - all accounts created previously are fine, and as before, but...

I think the key factor here was the inconsistency - different crashes happening at different times in different places in the code. The only common denominator was viewing in HTML which clearly places particular pressure on the process.

Reducing the database size seems to have fixed the problem - I've not had a crash since - thanks to those that assisted!

Pending a more permanent fix in the longer term, might I suggest a warning message if the database starts to get of a size where memory problems are likely to arise?
