Re: German umlauts, UTF-8 declaration missing?

Thank you Jeff. No matter, that OEC is correct, the interesting thing is that MS Outlook or Thunderbird translate the incoming umlaut email correctly even if not declared as UTF-8 by Poppeeper. On the other hand, MS Outlook always creates multi-part outgoing messages, no matter whether there is an a...

Re: German umlauts, UTF-8 declaration missing?

Just one more info from the OEC development regarding the described subject: Super! POPPeeper is the latest version from 2020. It doesn't respect the RFC: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2045#page-14 rfc2045, section 5.2 Default RFC 822 messages without a MIME Content-Type header are taken by this pr...

After upgrade to V4.01 starting PP takes 45 seconds

Congratulations to the work done. I am not sure that I need all the spam and white filters etc. However, what bores me is the slow start of PP since I upgraded. On my computer, I5 Intel processor with a SSD, it takes 45 seconds to get the mailing list. Since I haven't selected the option 'Run when s...
