One of few relevant real use cases I see is when replying to emails where screenshots/images are part of the discussion, where it is useful to have the comments together with said images.

Much as I prefer plain text email, it is sometimes useful to be able to reply or forward to an email with preserved HTML formatting.

Is it somehow possible to do? Even when viewed as HTML, reply/forward always seems to be a (admittedly a very good) translation to plain text?

Good idea. Right now I use Vivaldi for work and Firefox with sync for personal things, which works fine (also easy to see in taskbar what is what...), but might come in handy in the future!
