Re: Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

1a) (this can be done now, before the problem occurs) Go to: main menu: Tools / PPtweaker / Misc Near the bottom (2nd to last) is an option: "Tray icon: hover tooltip includes time remaining..." -- enable this Done. 1b) While still in PPtweaker, go to the "Troubleshooting" page;...

Re: Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

Thank you ppuser for your very helpful feedback. So to reiterate, by "cosmetic" you mean, the PP tray icon is not getting displayed properly in as much as the tray icon indicates that "AutoCheck" is disabled but in reality is enabled, hence PP will "Check Mail" and whe...

Re: Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

OK, i checked it once more. It seems that it's just a cosmetic issue. The wrong icon is displayed but the Autocheck is actually enabled. I just repeated the test and while the icon was closed as in previous attempts, as soon as PP received a new mail, the icon was just changed to "new mail"...

Re: Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

Is this what you're saying happens and is what you do to remedy the situation? Yes, that's exactly what's going on. I just faced the same thing. I waited for 1-2 minutes to see what would happen (if the mail accounts would be checked and the icon would change) but i got tired and decided to doublec...

Re: Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

To clarify using your terms (w/ added clarification): What you are saying is that after you "login" to Windows (after lifting the laptop lid) you then, quote "see the PP icon in the task bar as closed (disabled)" - meaning you see the PP tray icon as this PIC-2 closed 'disabled'...

Poppeeper disabled after turning on PC from sleep

I have PP on a laptop and i have noticed this behavior: i shut the lid, which puts the laptop in sleep mode. After a while i open the lid, login and see the PP icon in the taskbar as closed (disabled). I'm not sure it happens 100% of the time but i have noticed it at least 4-5 times. The others, it'...

Licensing

Hi.

I've searched the site but i couldn't find any info about the duration of the license. For how log is it valid and for how long updates are available? Would it be possible with the same license to update from v5 to v6+ if and when they are released?

Jeff wrote: Fri Apr 29, 2022 2:45 pm Yes, that's still considered a "scheduled" mail-check so it will trigger if auto-check is disabled.
Yup, that did the trick. I changed it and it stopped auto-checking on startup.

Thanks.

Re: Disabling autocheck does one check on startup

2 Jeff: Thanks for the pointer. I'll check it on Tuesday when i'll be at the specific PC where i faced the problem. I think though that its set to "Check mail after delay". Could this be causing that behavior?

Disabling autocheck does one check on startup

Even though i have AutoCheck disabled (default timer set to 0 in options and is 0 in accounts), when the program starts, the popup notification window appears in forming me of new mails. It shouldn't, right?

Yup, of course. I'll be waiting for his input on this then.

Re: Link opened in internal browser

It is opened in a new tab of the browser, i'm not sure though if this is a setting (open in new tab) in the web mail program. The funny thing is that this happens only in a specific email. Others just open the link in the external browser. I could forward the email to support if this is helpful. It'...

Link opened in internal browser

PPTweaker option "Force PP to open links in external browser" is checked, however i have encountered an email in which i clicked a link and it was opened in internal browser. Is it perhaps a known bug?

Using PP 5.2.2.

Re: Requests

Hi there and thanks for answering both requests.

About (1), it seems to work correctly. I got confused at first because i had left both versions of the DLL in the folder, but once i understood what was happening, i configured it properly, tested it and it seems to work fine.

Requests

Hi. I'd like to remind an older request of mine and add a new one. 1. When the mouse enters inside the notification window, the timer which closes it should be stopped (or perhaps paused until the mouse exits? - whichever is easier). The point is to give the user time to decide what he wants to do w...

Re: Suggestion - Fields in preview window

May I ask *why* you need to view the full list? Someone has sent an email to me and several others. I would like to know who else is in the recipients list. I don't like having the window maximized and usually there are around 20-25 emails in the To or CC lists anyway, so even maximized, i still wo...

Suggestion - Fields in preview window

Certain fields in the email preview window (like TO and CC) can contain many recipients, so the text may be very long. It would be nice if there was a way in which you could see the whole text. An idea could be a "view header info" button, which would open a new window in which you could s...

Great. Nice to hear it's fixed.

Will it require an update to PP only or to the SSL dll also?
