Re: Hotmail Send Mail failure
The account is still retrieving mail in Pop Peeper I can send email from the website This is a standard Hotmail account I gave up on Oauth2 for Hotmail awhile back, at your suggestion, I think It never sent the original email, but I just deleted it and re-created it - the second one seems to have sent

Hotmail Send Mail failure
Hi, my main Hotmail account just refused to send an email to my wife's Hotmail account - log attached - no recent changes to anything on my side that would cause this. I can login in on their website. Thanks

Authy 2FA
I'm guessing that if I enable Authy (or a similar 2FA) on an email account, that PP would not be able to access. Is that correct? Or are they two completely separate situations?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Pop Peeper won't start
Just sent an email to support at esumsoft dot com with two attachments. It definitely seems to be the .ini file.

The "experiment" seems to work, PP starts as User, and collects mail on one account, and restarts

Re: Pop Peeper won't start
I see you're correct about granting permission being different from running as Admin, as I granted permission to install to a new PP folder, and when it asks to start PP at the end of installation, it didn't start, but it will start if I run as Admin. C:\Users\WBS2\AppData\Roaming\POP Peeper is my A...

Re: Pop Peeper won't start
How am I supposed to do that? POPPeeperPro-Install-v50.exe immediately wants Admin permission to run. I downloaded POPPeeperPro-v50.zip, unzipped it, and copied the files to a new Pop Peeper directory, but that is the problem I was having here https://www.esumsoft.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&p=...

Re: Pop Peeper won't start
If you right-click on the POPPeeper.exe file and select "Properties" -- do you see an option to "unblock" it on the bottom? If so, press it and things should work. The POPPeeper.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\POP Peeper does not seem to have that option. Otherwise, what are your s...

Re: Pop Peeper won't start
1. when I try to run POP Peeper under a non-Administrator account, I briefly see a spinning donut, like it's trying, then nothing 2. Is this problem similar to one you reported in the topic below from May 2017? - yes it doesn't run, no because Pop Peeper did an auto update after offering v.5 (I didn...

Pop Peeper won't start
So the thanks I get for purchasing Pro and letting it upgrade to v. 5 is that suddenly Pop Peeper will not run under my User Account. It will start up, if I run as Adminstrator, but that is totally useless to me. And if Activate it in the Admin account, which may be the issue, I assume it will dupli...

Re: Authentication failed with iCloud
It is not password protected, but apparently it was asking me to "confirm password" each time because the "Password" field had my iCloud password. When I put in the app specific one, the error went away. Now we'll see if lasts more than 12 hours, which is about how long it worked...

I'll think about the suggestion to switch, I'm getting pretty tired of switching between modes on accounts with a lot of emails.

Re: OAuth not working with iCloud
I don't think that can help. I have the right email address and password, because it worked when I set it up. There is no longer an option to turn off 2 factor, that's why I set this up. I'm using an app specific password, which it asks for when I do Edit/Account, and it takes the password and lets ...

Authentication failed with iCloud
PP 4.4.0.0 my iCloud account initially worked when I set it up with the app specific password, but almost immediately started giving the message below. I'm not real sure how this is supposed to work, so I may be doing something wrong. Thanks, --- Version --- OS: Windows 10 (x64) POP Peeper: 4.4.0.0 ...

not seeing Hotmail, but no error messages
PP 4.4.0.0 with three Hotmail accounts (among others) Two are Hotmail/Outlook (switched from IMAP during the long outage) and are showing no mail at all, new or old, but no error messages. When I go online, there is new mail. The third is IMAP, and does not have this issue. Anything I can do? Thanks,

Re: 4.4 won't run in user login?
reboot didn't work, so now I have no Pop Peeper - what now? Incidentally, my install went like this. The Plus Pack page said to download PP from a link. Did that and got a .zip file. Cut all previous version files and moved to a backup directory, then put the .zip files in the Pop Peeper directory. ...

4.4 won't run in user login?
Downloaded 4.4 with Plus Pack, installed from within User login. Will run if I right click and Run as Administrator, but will not run as User (which is where all accounts are). Does it need to rebooted, or what?
Thanks much
