Actually running on Windows 7 PC. Interesting that the accounts and some folders are in 2 places. A couple versions ago installed into Program Files (86) folder. 1 version later, would not work and we had to point something to the GBEAR/AppData\Roaming\Pop Peeper path. PopPeeper Pro Not Saving Settings After Reboot
PopPeeper Pro v4.51 with Windows 764bit. Attached jpg of setting screenshot. Set to poll every 20 minutes for all accounts. After system restart, settings changed back to poll every 10min & use account timers. Options, Mail Check (2nd tab)

Thanks for your replies. Jeff was able to locate the problem. In previous versions, I always stored account info in Programs x86\PopPeeper folder, then made backups and such. New version apparently needs account info + INI file in Users\Name\Roaming\PopPeeper folderJeff had me open PopPeeper and go ...

Saw your email. followed instructions on moving ini file. closed program, reopened and now it says "invalid license". Same one I have had for several years.

Installed Popeeper 4.41 + Ad On Pack. After system restart activation screen came up. Entered correct info and received error "access to licppro.dat was denied". Tried 3 times. Removed both licppro files and tried again. Now get "too many attempts try later error#20. Waited 1 hour and...

I want to thank Jeff for coming up with a quick solution to my problem with version 4.4. Fantastic that it was, in my case, 1 file stopping the show.

I tried something different with unfortunately same problem. I believe the upgrade is looking in the wrong location and just keeps looking. There must be a process window in the background but I cannot move the one that is stuck open. I tried creating a new backup from v4.3 to User\roaming\poppeeper...

How do I send you the backup file folder? Last one was from 6mths ago with no changes to accounts or settings.

There are only 16 small emails. Attached are screenshots of my backup and restore paths. I think that the new version might not be finding what it is looking for.

I think that I might know what the problem might be?? There are no data files in the user name/appdata/roaming/poppeeper folder. All of my account are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Poppeeper\data. All 4 of my email accounts are there as this is what I chose at the backup/restore path. Removed all 4 data...

Will try removing the db file and let you know what happens. Have been monitoring the cpu useage and pop peeper has been from 47-49% for 25 minutes now if that helps.

Currently have tray icon with no hard drive activity. Approx 25 emails on server. Processes show POPpeeper.exe *32 running. Does it matter that this is a 64 machine. Didn't in the past though....The tray icon is sitting idle and I do not see any indication of other activity running in regards to the...

Tried it for 4th time. Plz see attached screenshot. Top menu bar is greyed out. After 5 minutes, no hard drive light flashing. Task Manager shows nothing currently running. Processes shows 1 pop peeper file .
