Re: 2 Problems, Please :)
Thank you Jeff and Lakrsrool! That is very helpful! BTW All my Other Accounts (Besides this single Yahoo Account) Are with Other Email Services. The Main Reason I wanted to retain One Account with Yahoo is because of Yahoo’s Brilliant "Throwaway Addresses" Feature! That Feature is SOOO Ama...

Re: 2 Problems, Please :)
Thank you Lakrsrool! I will try that.
Just one question (since I have never tried POP3 before):
Would changing that account from IMAP to POP3 have ANY effect on which messages will display (or HOW they display) when I view that account online?
Thanks, Chuck

Re: 2 Problems, Please :)
Thank you, Lakrsrool! • My POP Peeper Version is 4.4.1, (& it reports it's Not using Webmail), & All my Accounts connect via IMAP. • The Account showing the 3 non-existent "New/Unread" emails is Yahoo. Do you think it might clear this Frustrating Error if I merely rerun the install...

2 Problems, Please :)
HELLO! (I have been using PPPro with Plus Pack for several years.) My _ MAIN _ Problem just started today. (And BTW, Just Today I Had to do a Full System Restore, in case that makes a difference.) For ONE of my 4 Accounts, POP Peeper is showing that I have THREE New/Unread Messages (which I don't); ...

An Idea for a PP Viewing Method
Hello Everyone! I Just Started Using this Method, so I’m not yet sure if it has any drawback. So Far, it’s been working Great, so I thought it may be helpful to somebody else :) . . . I like to keep my POP Peeper Inbox CLEARED, And Yet keep IMPORTANT Recent Emails Instantly Viewable in my Inbox –– ...

Re: Notification Fail
lakrsrool: That setting will definitely address your issue. Yes, that’s definitely a huge relief! I really appreciate you & Jeff taking the time to help me find that solution! I have heard good things about Pale Moon & have thought about trying it. (Especially because of the aggravating dec...

Re: Notification Fail
Hi Jeff, Yes, when I am in Firefox, I run it “Full-Screen” (F11) because I extremely dislike all the screen-space that is wasted otherwise. So far, that setting (Disable Full-Screen-Detect) Seems to have done the trick since I’ve been receiving All Selected visual alerts. No, its (XYplorer’s) Optio...

Re: Notification Fail
Hi Jeff, Yes, it absolutely is the possible explanation, because I think that my Firefox runs “full-screen” ! ! Also, thank you for recalling that option to “Detect Full-Screen Apps” —which I have now changed to the “Allow All” setting. And Finally, since your Help & Options functions are so ex...

Re: Notification Fail
lakrsrool, Yes, you described the situation precisely: POP Peeper placed the blue icon into the tray, but the two visual notifications (Alert & LED) were not invoked. (You guys did nice icons, btw.) And I was mistaken in thinking that because I [may have] had the Gmail website open, that could h...

Re: Notification Fail
Hi Jeff, Actually, I think I have an idea that would be easier. The email I just received (regarding the message you posted at 3:19) did not notify, but that was because today I doing some organizing at the GMail website, & that website may have been open then. I am going to daily track every in...

Re: Notification Fail
Jeff, No, I don’t think having a clean inbox makes any difference. It’s a big help to me however since a new email is more starkly apparent. By saying "I never use GMail on the internet" I mean that I always try to access my email via POP Peeper. No, my phone is an ancient "flip phone...

Re: Notification Fail
lakrsrool, 1. I always read the messages in POP Peeper, even if it was necessary to learn of them only via the tray icon. 2. Yes, GMail Folders. (I did not know of the availability of moving to PP folders.) 3. I never use GMail on the internet except when necessary. I notice a Notification-Fail when...

Re: Notification Fail
lakrsrool: I do these moves only after I have read All New messages, then I manually move them into their respective folders –– Never via filters. {I do have some filters by which I auto-delete spam.} I find that keeping my “Inbox” empty has helped to ensure that I always take action on new messages...

Re: Notification Fail
Jeff & lakrsrool: I have always kept the Option “Tray icon reflects status of unread messages instead of new messages” UN checked; (which, if I recall correctly, is the default). The following probably don’t have any effect on this issue but, for completeness, my computer is Win-7 64 bit, and I ...

Re: Notification Fail
Thank you, lakrsrool, for your reply! The Server-type is:: IMAP / SSL / imap.gmail.com / Port 993 / with IDLE Checked. When the Notification Fail occurs, POP Peeper’s window is NOT open, and I keep the Option “Hide tray icon if mailbox does not contain new messages” checked — due to the trouble I ha...

Re: Notification Fail
Hi Jeff, & thank you for responding! On a missed notification, the tray icon will be blue; POP Peeper stays on _All-The-Time_. I have Zero reason to ever turn it off when my computer is on. I do not know what you meant by "server type" as I did not see that setting in GMail. The visual...

Notification Fail
Hello, Over the last few days I’ve noticed when I’ve gotten a new email, POP Peeper will notify me about 60% of the time; {Then, when I display POP Peeper’s Main Window, sure enough it’s displaying the new, unnotified email}. This has caused me to delay responding to some really important emails. I...

Turning Voice-Notification– _OFF_ ! !
Hello, Okay, surely I am missing something, 'cause I know this should be simple & I have been through all Options several times . . . But when I receive an email, I am _STILL_ getting that lady’s voice summarizing the new email!! Could you please tell me what setting I have missed to turn that l...

Re: A few quick questions
Thank you, Jeff, for your answers! Very helpful. I had not considered the possibility of augmenting POP Peeper with a Client like Thunderbird, altho years ago I did use one. When I discovered POP Peeper, it was my best experience for auto-checking my email. Would a secondary client be redundant, or ...

A few quick questions
Hello! • Can I make a slight adjustment to the font the recipient sees when I send them an email via POP Peeper (They would like it a bit larger)? • Similarly, can I make a word or phrase in my email italic or bold - Like This ? • A notifier skin I selected included voice notification--opposite to w...
