Been a year and half since the sneak peep. Is v5 ever gonna happen?

An "entering into beta soon" comment from five months ago doesn't tell me much, so I guess "I never provide an ETA" is the real answer. Hopefully sooner than later. Appreciate the response anyway, so thanks.
