Re: Is there a way to have POP Peeper to autocheck for new emails after deleting e-mail(s)?

In the absence of a check-after-delete feature, the recommended workaround seems to be "click the toolbar's Check Mail" button. The button is barely quicker than File / Check mail or Ctrl+M. Well it would be helpful (better "usability") to have a feature (and menu item and button...

Re: *Some* Zoho Inbox messages not displayed

Thanks guys, mostly good suggestions but... Check "hide messages from all accounts" Had already done this, above. "Messages" > uncheck "Enable display filters" Unchecking this Off made no difference. [Look at] "Max number of messages to retrieve" for all-accou...

*Some* Zoho Inbox messages not displayed

Okay this is a new one on me. PP is displaying only *some* of the messages in my Zoho inbox. All of the messages appear when viewing the inbox through webmail . All of the messages appear when viewing the inbox through Interlink (a terrific improvement on Thunderbird). But when viewing the inbox thr...

Re: Yahoo Mail

So, exactly what changes with Yahoo mail are happening on October 20? It used to be that any email client could access Yahoo mail using IMAP authentication, where the username+password for the email boxes was the same as for the Yahoo account in general. 1. Is the idea to require various passwords, ...

Re: Feature request - edit IMAP messages

could not find any source code you still have the SourceForge code The SF project has zero files, no ReadMe, no Support, and a one-line Wiki. That led me to think there was nothing to download. Did not know SF well enough to look under the Code tab, which has trunk posted in 2016. The Delphi 5 code...

Followed stale -> updated links https://www.kassebaum.eu/2016/09/18/imapsize/ but could not find any source code. The program itself works well enough though.

Re: Beta Validation Failed After Waking Computer From Sleep

I reported this or a similar issue back in January, about Beta 9. Every time PP starts, the error message appears after a minute or so. Help => About also shows the same thing "Error: Internet Error (12029) (Response 0)" I believe it did not have anything to do with sleeping, because the p...

Yes, that was it, thank you! Set "Messages / Enable display filters" back to Checked-On, and presto - the deleted RSS entries disappeared.

RSS entries remaining in the Message list window/pane even after giving the Delete command?

How come RSS entries remain in the Message header-list window/pane even after giving the Delete command? Unread and yes-Read status is fine, but if I Delete an item then I expect to never see it again. Yes I know RSS is a different protocol, and the items do yes remain on the server unlike email mes...

Re: Gmail nuisance

For GMail accounts, setting PP to IMAP+OAuth2 is more secure than simple IMAP+UserName+PassWord. It means you can use Google's account settings to turn off "Allow unsecure apps", without having to create application-specific passwords. (That was a temporary feature where Ggl gave tradition...

Wish List: CardDAV+CalDAV for synchronzing Address Book to server

The Subject above says it all. Modern mail accounts support IMAP/POP/WebMail, and also Address Books and Calendars, with URLs and ports to log in and trade updates between server and client. This takes the idea of IMAP further, to include more of what is necessary to keep your email independent of a...

Re: My PP4.5.1 has fallen and would not get up

To avoid having an install overwrite your customizations, you could take extra steps to limit the damage any installer can do. Here's some recipe. Point the installer to a custom program location, like G:\Apps\Mailers\PopPeeper When the install is complete... Move the new Start Menu items to a custo...
