Re: Yahoo mail changes
I still believe OAuth2 authentication is better than password generation. I would like to inform forum members to be careful when using Thunderbird build 78.4.0 because the developers have added a new feature: https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/78.4.0/releasenotes/ Yahoo and AOL mail user...

Re: Problem with SSL/TLS negotiation - missing ciphers in suite
Why would we XP users be out of luck?
As you can see my XP OS supports TLS 1.2:
And few browsers in modern OS are set up similar to my New Moon 28:

Re: Yahoo Mail
Remember, OAuth2 needs to be re-authorized every 90 days. Perhaps the option 3 would be more convenient. TIP: once an option 3 is established, the password is for POP Peeper only. You'll still need your Yahoo account password to login to Yahoo to check your mail in a browser and whatever else you m...

Re: Yahoo Mail
Check the apps linked to your Yahoo Mail account: 100d.jpg If you still receive the Yahoo email informing you that from 20 October the authentication will be exclusively OAuth2, it is certainly NOT the fault of Pop Peeper who has a perfect procedure. I found that the email client app I used on my sm...

Re: OAuth2,Gmail,POP Peeper v.5,OS Windows XP
@Jeff
The problem is not related to the Windows Firewall.
Regarding the certificate, if I can help you find out the problem, I am at your disposal:
P.S. With the previous version of P.P. the languages list was present.

Re: OAuth2,Gmail,POP Peeper v.5,OS Windows XP
I solved it by myself.
I copied all the lines of the Italian language file into notepad.
Then I saved the file as Lang_Italian.plf.
I put it in the folder, restarted PopPeeper.
It is OK:

Certainly, but the path is the same as in version 4.5.3 where the e-mail accounts were saved.

Re: OAuth2,Gmail,POP Peeper v.5,OS Windows XP
Thanks Jeff for the release of version 5.
I managed to enter the Gmail account as you will also notice from the image.
But I have some problems setting the Italian language.
No downloads available.

OAuth2,Gmail,POP Peeper v.5,OS Windows XP
Hi I just joined your forum. On my PC with Windows XP it is not possible with PoP Peeper v.4.5.3. use OAuth2 + Gmail because I.E.8 is considered an obsolete browser by Gmail. I have read that version 5 will open the browser. I hope that both the browser that a user has set as their default browser. ...
