As the thread's OP did, I've temporarily changed Server Type from IMAP to Hotmail/Outlook as a band-aid.

Webmail only for that account at the moment... I haven't bothered to set up a duplicate in PP as I'm sure it'll be resolved one way or the other in due course, and I'd be deleting the duplicate anyway...

Thanks laksrool and Jeff. Jeff, my use of "consecutive errors" was a total coincidence... I just used the (to me) obvious tern! :lol: @laksrool, you're correct in that there are a couple of other Hotmail accounts using IMAP without issues. Restarting PP yesterday seemed to clear the issue....
