Re: rambler.ru
... I had apparently created an account in 2016 (probably the last time I accessed it, too). I just tried logging in via webbrowser and it still recognized my account... That's amazing your account was still good , that just doesn't happen very often at all. Lucky you!! =D> (their reportedly...

Re: rambler.ru
Hmm, just noticed this regarding MailFence - quote: Block in Russia On 5 March 2020, Mailfence reported that their SMTP servers are blocked by Russian based email services. This was in response to their refusal to submit a Notice of Commencement of Collaboration with Roskomnadzor’s (the Federal Supe...

joan123, if your interested in highly secure email accounts that provide end-to-end encryption that are still free, I know of 3 (all 3 have "premium" accounts as well of course, or at least I know the first two do for sure): 1) ProtonMail 2) Tutanota 3) MailFence Problem is, none of these ...

Re: rambler.ru
As I recall, Yandex has fairly recently changed to pay-for-service only. I know, because a few months back I was seriously considering Yandex and found out that I had just missed a possible opportunity of getting "grandfathered" into a "free" account since they had recently at th...

I agree the settings you are using: Incoming Server: imap.rambler.ru , IMAP port: 993 , IMAP security: SSL / TLS Outgoing "Send mail" SMTP Server: smtp.rambler.ru , SMTP port: 465 , SMTP security: SSL / TLS Are expected to work on Thunderbird, and if so should also work on POP Peeper. That...

Welcome to the forum joan123 (and if your new to POP Peeper, then welcome to POP Peeper as well). The error 451 that your getting is often just a temporary error that will generally resolve itself in time. However, if this error has been persistent in our case for some time then there are a few ques...

Re: Outlook / Hotmail Account Issues
There are a lot of people that don't have more than one account, but if they do they might have just two (I used one MS and one Yahoo for years and if the "code" approach was used back then (I'd guess back in the 90's or there about) the same problem would exist if both accounts needed a c...

Re: Outlook / Hotmail Account Issues
Vent time -- on the subject of MS codes. Here's the scenario: 1) I have an MS account (I'll call acct-1) that requires Oauth2 to be reset to work in PP. 2) Starting the process I need a code to be sent to an alternate account (acct-2) to enter into the account (acct-1) that needs Oauth2 reset. 3) Lo...

Re: Outlook / Hotmail Account Issues
EDIT: Disregard the comments below as this is not what you were asking about. And yes, it is a relatively new thing for MS to be sending codes to the respective alternate email account on record to confirm the account is really yours. I've unfortunately experienced this inconvenience far too often o...

Re: POP Peeper locking up
ECourts -- now that Jeff has been able to reproduce the problem, you don't need to bother with these questions . Are you using the current POP Peeper release (v5.4.6)? Are you on Windows10? What security software are you using (Firewall, Antivirus, etc)? When did this issue with POP Peeper start? D...

Re: More User Flags?
Yes, additional User Flags can be added or you can also modify existing User Flags as well. Take a look here on the esumsoft website for details on how to do this: https://www.esumsoft.com/pop-peeper/reference/custom-icons/#userflags. And you may also want to look at more advanced features regarding...

Re: Pop Peeper and Use of Aliases
Jeff, a reference to the requirement of "Advanced options" in order to be able to access the "Allow 'from' aliases" option should probably be added to the "Alias" FAQ.

Re: Pop Peeper and Use of Aliases
You will need to enable "Advanced options" - to do this go to "Tools" > "Options", select "General" and check the "Advanced options" box (upper-right area of Interface). The "Alias" option is one of a number of "Advanced" settings...

Re: OAuth2 Authentication error
It's not the IE version that's the problem but on that subject (not that this would necessarily matter specific to your Gmail Oauth2 issue) - can you please go to "Tools">"PPtweaker..." and select "Troubleshooting" and let us know what value you have for the "IE em...

Re: Not working: Inbox -> Edit Columns
Miki - good catch - you have apparently found a "bug" in POP Peeper for specifically editing the "Message List" Columns. :-s This should work either by way of the right-click method on the "Message" columns and using the context menu or by using the POP Peeper main menu...
