Re: Problems with messages with attachments
Welcome to the forum ethanbaskin, To answer your question: I haven't personally encountered this issue myself. Please provide the following information: 1) What do you mean by "show first"? (please elaborate as much as possible in regards to more details that you can think of - like this o...

Re: Weird error
What I've done (FWIW) is to create a new account just for testing this MS issue (that I don't otherwise use). This way I just leave the account set to Oauth2 (saves steps switching from Password to Oauth2 and back to Password each time) and try sending a message with the account every few days or so...

Re: PopPeeper crashes when old YDP Collins Dictionary program is running
To clarify, when you say quote: "whenever I click any email on the list, Pop Peeper instantly crashes." - that is to say when you click on a message in the POP Peeper Inbox (to read a message) - then POP Peeper crashes? Please answer a few questions that might help to determine what the pr...

Re: Cannot connect to SMTP server
And you had already formerly tried STARTTLS using port 587 (for "Send Mail" settings on the POP3 account) - right? Has anything you know of changed as of the time the issue started with your POP3 account? (i.e. security software updates or changes that might possibly be contributing to the...

Re: Cannot connect to SMTP server
This error is due to a current problem with Outlook’s SMTP servers.
Please use the password method instead of Oauth2 -- for details see: Outlook SMTP Oauth2 error.

Re: Weird error
For the record I have not had any tests that end up getting sent as well. And in every case when attempting to send a message by way of an MS account messages continue to remain in the POP Peeper Outbox (in a state of error) as one would expect in the event of a "send" error. To go over wh...

Re: Weird error
Did you confirm whether or not the message(s) did actually get sent by checking out what I previously posted (as referenced in the answer to your second question)? Or is that what you meant by "...is recorded in the Sent mail AFTER the error" - that is, that you did check the "Sent&qu...

Re: Weird error
So sgeneris - you have apparently updated your previous post, removing the questions you posted that I have answered above - to say "Looks like MS fixed it...". As Jeff mentioned in the link he provided: "It should be fixed by Outlook eventually, but to fix this immediately, you can s...

Re: Weird error
But Oauth2 has worked until now -- why would I go back to pasword? Because at this time as stated in the link Jeff provided: "Outlook’s SMTP server currently has an issue with Oauth2.". Using the "Password" authentication is a way around the problem with Outlook at this time (pl...

Re: Cannot connect to SMTP server
In regards to (step 3 above) disabling the Avast "Mail Shield" (to temporarily test sending messages) -- you might get better results accessing the "Mail Shield" at the Internal "Core Shields" level (Interface) as opposed to disabling "Shields" in general via ...

Re: missing headers
Have you tried this site to get Yahoo help: https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=home.
There's an option (link) to "speak with a live agent" for FWIW.

Re: missing headers
Let us know if the occurrence of missing Headers for "New" messages retrieved by POP Peeper eventually clears up in a consistent way. Otherwise, if this issue persists then Jeff may want you to start a PP_Log (Jeff would explain what the Log settings should be) and then at some point email...

Re: missing headers
You could try this with one of the messages (in the POP Peeper Inbox) that is currently missing Headers: 1) Do a Right-click on the message. 2) Select the "Remove from list" option that is listed on the right-click context menu you get (note: the message will repopulate the Inbox on the ne...

Re: missing headers
So to be clear - are you still using 4 Yahoo accounts in POP Peeper? Just a few more questions to follow-up: 1a) If the answer to the question above is "YES" (that is you have more Yahoo accounts than just the two that are not displaying Headers) then in that case you must have at least tw...

Re: Emails with attachments stopped hitting poppeeper
^ It is my understanding that popcat had the problem prior (for about a "week or so") to making the change that matched my settings and based on comments posted it was popcat's recollection that no other recent changes of any kind to POP Peeper had been made (prior to posting the topic) th...
