It seems that the issue was intermittent, as it was working properly again this evening.

I was/am using Oauth2 with this account, so I reset and re-authorized as you suggested.

I'll update this thread if the issue pops up again.

This started happening the other day. I have a few Hotmail accounts set to IMAP and one is consistently returning the "SSL connection failed" error. When I switch it back to a Hotmail/Outlook server type, it works fine, but I'd rather not use that workaround long-term... if possible. Anyon...

Morning Pete! It seems to have cleared up here as well, as all the IMAP accounts are now logging in and connecting without any errors reported. As you suggest, it was likely a server side tweak that had unintended consequences... presumably other than with PP... and re tweaked at their end. =D> Than...

Three more instances of NotAuthenticatedServerError this morning, all on different accounts. Of course, that's only three that I noticed... some may have popped up and cleared on the next check without me noticing...

Well, the NotAuthenticatedServerError error is back!

The good news: I've only seen it once so far today, but there had been zero instances since last weekend, so it appeared it was gone for good... apparently it's only mostly gone...

As an additional data point, I'm currently at 4 Timed Out errors, 1 SSL connection failed, and 1 NotAuthenticatedServerError.

This NotAuthenticatedServerError is getting progressively worse. At the moment, PP is showing 4 errors: 3 of the above and one SSL connection failed, which is also happening frequently today. Over the past few weeks, it would be more a case of NotAuthenticatedServerError happening on one server poll...
