Re: outlook not authorizing

On this subject of the Oauth2 issue with Outlook.com accounts - I had recently added a new "Outlook.com" email account to PP that had no problems using the (default) "Oauth2" method up until at least around 7-10 days had transpired. As of that point, the account started producing...

Re: Current Webmail version

Webmail is an optional subscription service for users who want/need to use the "Webmail" protocol. The "shaded out" versions are because you do not subscribe to "Webmail" presumably. To be clear, "Webmail" has nothing at all to do with Oauth2 anyway. You've me...

Re: Showing UNread when everything is read

Welcome to the forum fred9876, Are all of your accounts Gmail? What protocol ("Server Type") are you using? (IMAP, POP3) What O.S. (computer) are you using? Have you tried rebooting your computer? Please clarify what you mean by quote: "I cant see anything thats unread."? (where ...

Re: Deleted Items Folder, Shortcut?

I should have directed you to POP Peepers "Help" in the first place #-o - but that said, perhaps some of what I've described initially might provide you with possible alternatives to consider in regards to what you are interested in doing :-k (i.e. the SMV feature does provide access to va...

Re: Deleted Items Folder, Shortcut?

mistertee2 - please make sure you read this post (the previous post apparently has some incorrect assumptions on my part). What I've described above may still be interesting to you however - but as far as creating a Toolbar Button you should focus more on this post (as I've stricken-out what is pre...

Re: Deleted Items Folder, Shortcut?

Yes there is mistertee2, to be specific - Toolbar Buttons can be created to do this... You will need the Plus Pack to do what you want (as far as I'm aware that is - note: I have not done any of this myself - I'm merely providing the procedures that I can find that are applicable to your query regar...

Re: Recent Update Causing Problems With OAuth2

Still having the same problems? Maybe take a look at the Why The Need To Keep Resetting OAuth Accounts? topic to see if anything discussed there might be of help in your case. If you continue to have issues with Oauth2, then you might try creating an "App Password" for the troublesome acco...

Re: Cannot send messages again out of Hotmail acct.

... As I see the drop down menu, it only allows me to select either Oauth2 or Password.... Use the "Password" method (of the two options). To clarify, you would not be using "Oauth2" in this case (in as much as this method is not required for MS accounts) but would instead be us...

Re: some maills from GMail not showing

First thing you can do is to check if the number of messages might be restricted. You can do this by going to "Tools">"Options...">"Message Retrieval" page to see if the "max number of messages to retrieve" value is a number (as opposed to "0" - with...

Re: Default Email Client not being called

Hmm, wasn't aware of all this (you've mentioned you used the "Microsoft Store", so then this raises the question; would this intrusive approach on their "Store apps" also apply to the "Google Store" as well?) -- in that case (the way "Store apps" work) I would...

Re: Default Email Client not being called

Welcome to the forum mps803, My first thought is - are you sure you've got "eM Client" set as your Windows "Mail" default where you can choose your Windows default apps? (you might want to double-check to make sure your "Mail" default is in fact "eM Client"). ...

Re: never legit

OK. But is the banner new ? Not at all "new" - the banner has been used for a very long time , presumably even before the introduction (at some point) of the "Confirm Legit" button. The banner has been present as of the initial Version 4 release ( see below ). Edit: I was in the...

Re: never legit

You're very welcome. In regards to your question, I can't say for sure as to when the "Confirm Legit" was initially implemented (Jeff would be the one to answer that specific question - so I'll leave that for him to follow-up on). All I can say is that a portion of the information that I p...

Re: never legit

This is my understanding as far as answering your question - "why confirm ?": The presence of the "Confirm Legit" is to indicate that the system has in fact evaluated the message as "Legit" so you're simply confirming this status by clicking on this option (an already o...
