Re: Can't send email suddenly
I don't know if this is what you mean but what I was doing was sending an email to myself at a different domain and the email only had the word test in it or a simple http link or something just for testing purposes. But it seems to happen on all my domains that are on that same server/hosting compa...

Re: Can't send email suddenly
Thanks Jeff. I did submit a support ticket to dreamhost. Haven't heard from them yet. I did attach the error message complete. But the odd thing is that I don't get that error if I use my tablet or cell phone for email. I use K-9 Mail for android devices. I have no errors at all when using those ema...

Can't send email suddenly
OK, so I haven't changed a thing on my PopPeeper settings on my PC or on the settings on my website hosting server. To my knowledge the webhost (dreamhost.com) has not changed anything either. Everything was working fine yesterday. So suddenly when I try to send email I get the following error: - --...

Re: Spellcheck not catching word
I just found another word it misses. If I mistype "at" by typing a t it also fails to catch it. Now I know "a" is a word but "t" is not. I don't know what dictionary database this spellcheck program uses but it ain't English (I know ain't ain't a word either, but if it ...

Re: Spellcheck not catching word
Oh well. Worth a try. Thanks again and hopefully you'll figure something out. I'd like you ot. In my personal opinion the spellcheck dictionary should not have "words" like OT or NM or OTOH (on the other hand) because those are not words in the English language. I think it would be ...

Re: Spellcheck not catching word
Wow. Talk about a well thought out and complete reply. Thank you sir. Very much appreciated. So what your saying if I understand you correctly is that since OT is a slang kinda thing (like "kinda") it ignores ot because it sees them as them same? But if there was a setting to ignore case t...

Spellcheck not catching word
I have a bad habit of typing "ot" when I mean to type "to". My fault, fat fingers. But I notice that spellcheck is not always catching it (red underline). Is there anyway for me to fix this?
Also doesn't seem to catch when I type i instead of I (upper case).

Re: The "View HTML" banner when reading a message now displays full html (images) when engaged
I never realized this before but, for me at least, when looking at an email that is HTML I can just go to the "view" menu and there is an option for HTML. If I click that then it does HTML only with no images. This works fine for me and is just as easy (maybe even easier) than the banner. ...

Re: The "View HTML" banner when reading a message now displays full html (images) when engaged
I agree with OP. I also prefer the old way of having to click twice separately in order to view the images. I almost never showed the images but quite often I had to click once to see it in HTML to see what the heck it was. I very much preferred the ability to see it without showing the images. It s...

Re: POPPeeper firewall question
Nah, I don't think so because the log is showing what it is blocking and logging it. So if it is showing that it is blocking PP then that is what it is blocking. I only have a few rules and they are all for programs such as Firefox etc ... Windows has default rules for itself so they are all default...

Re: POPPeeper firewall question
2.jpg Just in case anyone was curious it just happened again and here is the firewall log. I tried changing the rule to allow anything and it still did not work. Only thing I can see is that there appears to be a difference in case in the rule and the log entry. But I don't think that is the issue....

Re: POPPeeper firewall question
I don't think it's related to your domain either, for another reason that you didn't itemize: 3) Your firewall logs reported it had blocked the connection I don't think that un/re-installing POP Peeper would fix it. What I would try first is deleting your firewall rule and re-add it. Maybe make the...

Re: POPPeeper firewall question
When it happens this is how it goes ... I usually run POPPeeper when I first turn on my PC. Check all my mail and then start doing other stuff. I leave it open in the background but I do not have it set to keep checking. After a while I run the check again so it checks all my accounts again. I usual...

Re: POPPeeper firewall question
1.Does this occur exclusively for one specific account using the POP3 protocol? (i.e. Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail etc) 2.Have you done any updates recently to Windows 7? 3.What version of POP Peeper are you using (Help>About POP Peeper...)? 4.Is the problematic machine using the same network? Do you have...

POPPeeper firewall question
I have Windows 7 and am using the Windows firewall. I have it set to block all outbound traffic unless there is a specific rule allowing it. I have a rule to allow PP. I have had this set up for years. I have PP setup the exact same way on a few different PCs, all having the same email accounts on t...

Re: Also getting the "SSL connection failed" error
As a result of this you will probably have to do what is described below in the next paragraph but you could try following the POINT #3 steps in the topic POP Peeper v4.4: Common issues (and solutions) to see if this helps Note: because this would have been done when updating to PPv4.4.1 it is like...
