Sorry, but there is very little chance that laposte.net will be supported via webmail access. There's a lot of work involved just in the initial development, and then there's the continued maintenance of these types of services. Since it wouldn't affect very many people it just isn't practical to sp...

Crashing when first attempting to start POP Peeper

Symptoms: POP Peeper crashes the first time it tries to check mail and takes several attempts to start POP Peeper. Once it starts and completes initial checkmail, it works normally. A fix for this issue is currently being tested. It does not affect all users so send me an email to request the fix if...

You can also add yahoo.fr to the confirmed list and yahoo.ca to the questionable list. I'm fairly certain .ca has worked with pop3 at one time, but I just tested it and I'm getting a failed login error. But according to Yahoo's help it should be available, so it could be a temporary glitch or *maybe...

I'm fairly certain that .co.uk and .ca also have free pop3. In general, most of the non-.com yahoo accounts have free pop3, but I know that there's at least one out there that doesn't (perhaps .co.in?). If you can't find it somewhere on the web, the only other way is to create an account in each dom...

The point of the tool is that it's easier for me to automate that kind of thing. The small amount of text that changed since v3.0 isn't enough to warrant an update, imo.

The latest available translation is for v3.0. v3.1 (and v3.2) did add a couple of new texts, but they are not available for translation yet. The translation tool will be updated in v4.0. As for the plugins, since I have enough trouble keeping up with the work involved for translations of the main ex...

Welcome to the POP Peeper forums, deskordia.

Unfortunately, some webmail services, including hotmail, have made recent changes that have affected PP's ability to display certain languages. I hope to correct this in a future version, but no details are available yet, sorry.

fastmail.fm has a longish list of domains, though I'm not sure how many of them would be considered "cool." Free imap access, though. That's the only other free one I can think of.

Looks good. I just tried to create an account and got: Error 30131 has occurred. Please try again later. We will try to fix the source of the error as soon as possible. So... I guess I'll try again later. Now a 30132 error. Stupid, cryptic error messages. </sarcasm> Update : despite the error messag...

The only thing I can do would be to support folders, and that's not an overnight change. But something you can do -- find gmail's contact form and tell them to add the option to permanently delete. 2. When messages are deleted with Imap: a) keep Gmail's copy in All Mail b) archive GMail's copy c) de...

Just tested it myself and it does seem strange. I also tried putting in a different 'to' address, and in that case, the BCC does not get shown. So if "to" is empty, it shows the entire BCC in the "to" field; and if there's a "to" and a "bcc", then the "bc...

I was talking about what imap clients do when they delete a message. Imap clients will first "copy" the message to the trash folder, and then call the command to "delete" the message. Since Imap has certain expectations (ie. that folders exist) that POP3 doesn't (ie. there's just...

now that you have Imap in Gmail, did you try checking their (unique?) way to delete messages? I have tested the imap delete. The reason the copy to trash doesn't work is because the folders aren't setup in the traditional way. I suspect gmail made trash a top-level folder, and it's usually a subfol...

I got an email from someone that said GMail had changed the interface on their account and PP no longer works. I had heard this might be happening and was wondering if anyone else's accounts had changed. I'm still waiting for Imap and wonder if it's related. Oh, wonder of all wonders -- I just check...
