Re: POP Peeper Terminates with C++ Library Error
The test of course is when you enable IDLE/Push (the assumption, as I understand it, is that the IDLE/Push has recently been in some manner contributing to random crashes - of which Jeff has addressed via the v.6 update). The major benefit of using IDLE/Push (assuming this function is supported by t...

Re: POP Peeper Terminates with C++ Library Error
For the record (in my case) - (w/ IDLE/Push enabled entire time) after multiple crashes pre-v.6 the previous (April) month it has now been crash free for over 3 weeks of testing (since 4-26) post-v.6 update.

Re: Delete Tead email
This method would be expected to solve your problem - as IMAP is the preferred protocol as I mentioned previously (that said, in this case the message should still be expected to successfully delete using POP3).acooldozen wrote: ↑Wed May 17, 2023 1:43 pm As soon as I changed over from POP3 to IMAP it FIXED itself. Try this (not sure if it will make a difference) - edit the specific account (right-click on account and select "Edit") then in the left pane of the edit interface select "Advanced" (if you do not see an "Advanced" option then from the main menu go to "Tools" ...

What email service is this specific account (Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook etc)? My local webmail account from local server! You're probably still using the telus.net email service (right?) What protocol ("Server type") are you using for this specific account (IMAP, POP3)? POP3! Is there a reason...

Re: Unhide Passwords
This obviously doesn't answer your question (directly) - I'll leave that to Jeff.
But (just a reminder) you can of course always "reset" your password via the email service assuming your goal is simply to gain access to your email account.

Re: outlook not authorizing
On this subject of the Oauth2 issue with Outlook.com accounts - I had recently added a new "Outlook.com" email account to PP that had no problems using the (default) "Oauth2" method up until at least around 7-10 days had transpired. As of that point, the account started producing...

Re: Current Webmail version
Webmail is an optional subscription service for users who want/need to use the "Webmail" protocol. The "shaded out" versions are because you do not subscribe to "Webmail" presumably. To be clear, "Webmail" has nothing at all to do with Oauth2 anyway. You've me...

I should have directed you to POP Peepers "Help" in the first place #-o - but that said, perhaps some of what I've described initially might provide you with possible alternatives to consider in regards to what you are interested in doing :-k (i.e. the SMV feature does provide access to va...

Re: Deleted Items Folder, Shortcut?
mistertee2 - please make sure you read this post (the previous post apparently has some incorrect assumptions on my part). What I've described above may still be interesting to you however - but as far as creating a Toolbar Button you should focus more on this post (as I've stricken-out what is pre...

Yes there is mistertee2, to be specific - Toolbar Buttons can be created to do this... You will need the Plus Pack to do what you want (as far as I'm aware that is - note: I have not done any of this myself - I'm merely providing the procedures that I can find that are applicable to your query regar...

Re: Recent Update Causing Problems With OAuth2

Re: some maills from GMail not showing
First thing you can do is to check if the number of messages might be restricted. You can do this by going to "Tools">"Options...">"Message Retrieval" page to see if the "max number of messages to retrieve" value is a number (as opposed to "0" - with...
