Re: Gmail - WebMail: Sync Read-Status
Another Case:
Set "Options -> Message Retrieval -> WebMail" to "Entire Message".
Send a message (from PP) to your own account.
Check Mail.
Open the message or mark it as read.
Close PP.
Reopen PP.
Result:
The message is unread.
Thank you.

Gmail - WebMail: Sync Read-Status
Hello,
Due to some current issues with Gmail IMAP I've switched to WebMail.
When a message is marked as read in PP it's still marked as UNREAD in Gmail.
How can I change that?
(I didn't have this issue with IMAP).
Thank you.

Slow access to Gmail
Hello, During the last few days PP access to Gmail has been significantly slower than usual. - Logging in/out may take some 50 seconds even if no messages are retrieved (normally it takes 1-3 seconds). - It does NOT happen on every mail-check. 5 out of 10 are slow. - It does NOT depend on the mail-c...

Re: Gmail: Please log in via your web browser
Hi Jeff, Thanks again. I really appreciate your help. Good news! I enabled "2-Step Verification", entered the password I received (waited 10 minuets for a text message until realizing I should enter my number with hyphens) to my account in PP, switched the router off and on - and had no pr...

Re: Gmail: Please log in via your web browser
Hi lakrsrool, Thanks again. I wasn't clear enough. When the error occurs, I log in to my account (in Firefox; log out and then in) and the next mail-check in PP is successful. I was offline for a while. I switched the computer off but the router remained on (I sometimes turn off with one switch all ...

Re: Gmail: Please log in via your web browser
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for replying. I appreciate it.
"less secure apps" is on (allowed).
I've just tried switching the router off and then on; - the same error.
New settings in Gmail? Any other idea?
Best.

Re: Gmail deleted messages are moved to "*" label
Hi lakrsrool, Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. - "IMAP - delete to folder" is blank. - "Filters and Blocked Addresses": no "*" label. - Account Permissions: 1) Stack Exchange. 2 ) Greasy Fork (Firefox scripts). 3) UserVoice (don't remember adding it). I've remove...

Gmail deleted messages are moved to "*" label
Hi Jeff, On *very rare* occasions, deleted Gmail messages in PP are moved to "*" label (instead of Trash). I've never created such a label, and if I delete it it's recreated when deleting another message. Exiting PP and restarting it - the problem is gone. The problem does not occur if I d...

Re: Strange characters in messages
Hi lakrsrool, Thanks for replying. I hope you're doing well. In this particular message, those characters are not displayed at all when viewing it in the browser. I can't remember now the case in other messages (i.e existing characters displayed wrongly, or some apparently "out of the blue"...
