Re: hide incoming mail notification!
The notification display tray balloon tip had to due with mail showing up were not the popups I were seeing.
It has something to do with the skin notifier but I not seem any way to make the popup windows be invisible just change the look of that popup.

Re: AOL Not working
I did update to new pw twice just as it was done with outlook.
This was working until earlier today so whatever settings I been using was working.
I have 3 gmail 1 hotmail and now 1 comcast that are not having problems just my verizon.net aol acct.

Re: PoP Peeper with proxy and VPN
I have been using Pop Peeper with my VPN with a hotmail, verizon, and 3 gmail accts and their working fine as I already deleted my old warnings and so far no warnings so hoping whatever problems are gone will update here if any problems arise.

Re: I like Pop Peeper to assign my Web Browser!
Unless I hear from otherwise suggesting otherwise, I don't think that this has very wide appeal. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me if there already exists some type of "URL manager" that does what you'd want. That is, it could set itself as the default URL prototype handler in Wind...

Whats happening in my case I find I need to change my favorite browser Firefox to Chrome to open some links...
