Re: VPN and POP Peeper
If receiving email doesn't have a problem, I wouldn't expect sending to, unless perhaps something in the vpn isn't configured correctly. What error does POP Peeper report? And what port / SSL configuration are you using (if applicable)?

Re: Upgrade issues
The problem may be with the way that this particular install (of v3) was created. In certain cases, if PPv3 was installed in Program Files and was set to use a portable install (e.g. so the data files were stored under C:\Program Files\POP Peeper\data\), the upgrade process will have problems. Here'...

Re: Missing or Overridden Emails
- Is POP Peeper hiding the message for some reason (disable Messages / Enable display filters as a way to show all messages) - What method are you using to access the account (edit the account, refer to the server type -- GMail, imap or pop3) Most likely explanation -- If you're using webmail (serve...

Re: Error from msls31.dll
Well, that's good, but I'm not sure I'd get too excited. Did you try opening one of the same messages as before? ie. as I alluded to in my first reply, some messages may not need to use HTML to render and I wouldn't expect them to cause the problem.

Re: Automatically view messages in HTML
Please refer to the guide here: http://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-peeper/help-upgrading-v4/#viewhtml btw, instead of simply adding the user to the whitelist, you should mark the message as legit. This will not only add the user to the whitelist but also train POP Peeper, so it's much more likely ...

Re: Error from msls31.dll
First, I would definitely take lakrsrool's advice and going with a repair. One method I would definitely *NOT* try is downloading the file from the internet. There's way too much of a possibility of getting malware; but also, as we've found, there are several different files of the same version (alt...

Re: using Compsoe button crashes client
As of the next version, you won't be able to create accounts that lead/trail with spaces. It will either strip them out or replace them with underscores. IF you happen to have existing accounts that would be affected, POP Peeper will not change them until you edit and save the account.

Re: Pro version , why the force?
Well, it tells you that there is an upgrade because there is a new version and you've enabled "automatically check for updates." The Pro version will revert to the free version after the 30 day trial.

fyi: the filesize of mine is 211KB. I think that there are different filesizes depending on the OS and hardware platforms (x86, x64, amd, intel, ...)

Re: Login Errors after upgrade from v3.8 to v4.0.1
Ok, 2 possibilities: 1) Try editing the account and changing the "login name" so that it doesn't have the full email address (or if it's already that way, include the full email address) 2) When I first saw "livemail.co.uk" I assumed that they were affiliated with Hotmail and I n...

Re: Error from msls31.dll
lakrsrool said exactly what I was going to say based on my own research... Interestingly, I have the same version of msls31.dll, but I have a more recent timestamp. For those of us who can't read hex timestamps: msls31.dll, versione: 3.10.349.0, timestamp: 0x525b8786 Mon, 14 Oct 2013 05:56:22 GMT Th...

Re: Deleted Message Indicator Missing
Rakdan -- Can you send me the original column definitions you had for the mail list column in v3? Here's what you need to do: 1) POP Peeper v4 should have made a backup of your v3 data. The location of this backup is the same location as it was, but with "-v3" appended to it. So, for examp...

Re: using Compsoe button crashes client
Ok, I've been trying but I just can't get the same behavior you're describing. So, let's do this: The next time you have the problem: 1) Go to Tools / Options / Storage 2) Select and copy the "Ini location" 3) Edit this file (you can paste it into Windows Run prompt to edit it) 4) Search f...

Re: having an image in body of message
I assume that you're trying to *send* an email with an image in the body? POP Peeper does not currently support sending HTML, which is necessary for that feature.
