Re: Proof of mail delivery

You can use a program like MSGTAG, which will confirm that your recipient has opened the email.

SteveM,

Since Yahoo has not made an official announcement, they may still be rolling POP3 access to users.

Re: Yahoo Mail enabled free POP3/SMTP service

devega, No, I have not tried yahoo.es. But I have an POP3 account with yahoo.cn. As of a month ago, at least 3 countries do not offer free Yahoo POP3 access, Yahoo US, Yahoo India, and Yahoo Australia. Since Yahoo US is getting free POP3 access, the other countries previously banned will get it too....

Re: Windows Live Free POP3 Access

Jeff,

It is not as if port 25 does not work. It works for many users. And some ISP have begun blocking port 587.

Re: Windows Live Free POP3 Access

Windows Live SMTP port 25 works with TLS, not without. the security setting. I think it will work with SSL and port 465, but I have not tested.

Re: Email

Heather,

Are you referring to an account in POP Peeper? Which account?

Did you hide the read email and then re-download it? Are you using POP or IMAP?

NYCzzzz,

Welcome to the POP Peeper forum. If you want to access with POP3 access, use pop.gmail.com, port 995, SSL enabled.

If you want to use IMAP, use imap.gmail.com, port 993 and SSL enabled. You login address is what your domain administrator gives you. Check with the Admin.

There could be a temporarily problem with GMX SMTP server. Try using SSL and port 465 to send. I just tested with this configuration and it worked from POP Peeper.

Welcome to the POP Peeper forums. Are you using SSL security? Try alternate SMTP port 587

Have you try recreating the GMX account in Entourage?

Is your outgoing server settings port 465 or 587? SSL enabled? Outgoing server authentication enabled?

Also, change SMTP.gmail.com to smtp.gmai.com Case should not make a difference, but it's worth a try.
