Yes, that matches mine. Do you know what you changed? If it was set to "priority only" or "alarms only" then the wording of those sound like the change you made (to "off") should do the trick.

It might help if this ends up fixing the problem; otherwise, it's just clutter :) Have you had a chance to test it yet?

That's up to you. This forum post, with your screenshot included, will be here for a while.

I'd say that Windows should preserve the setting, but "should" is the operative word -- I frequently have to reset certain settings after every feature update.

It's the same as yours, so a screenshot wouldn't help.

With the troubles you're having I would suggest trying a different approach. Personally, I prefer the Skin Notifier over the Windows notification because it's more consistent and provides more features. Just make sure that you change the option so that the skin notifier stays until it's actively dismissed by you (I don't think it's the default, although it probably should be).

1) Download and install the skin notifier (use the exe installation option):
https://www.esumsoft.com/products/pop-p ... inNotifier
2) From the main menu, select Tools / Skin notifier -> Select skin/settings
3) On the bottom-right:
- Enable "Override slider"
- Change the mode to "Disable" OR "Slide in" OR "Fade in" (I prefer fade in, but it's your choice)
4) Press "Test" to make sure it works like you want
5) Press OK

Once you have it working, you can download more skins here:

Right -- it will remain visible until you close the window or open POP Peeper.

I use "Bubble (blue)" which is one of the skins included by default. I would suggest using the default and once you get used to it, then start looking at the different skins.

Jeff I set it up the way you said, and it all works fine except the pop up windows disappears after 5 seconds. This delay is in the options and I tried 0 seconds but then it just goes away immediately. There is no option to make it stay up until clicked on, is there a way to make the pop up remain until I click on it?
