Save email as pdf file

I had to save an email the other day I was thinking to be great to save the email as a pdf file as pdf is a great format to have message in I dont how hard that would be to implement but if I dont ask it won't happen.

This should already exist if you're using a semi-modern Windows OS (not sure when MS added it, but I'd guess ~Win7?):
Go to "Print" the message (File/Print, or Ctrl+P, or toolbar, etc.) and then select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer choice
