Cox Email: NEW Log-in issues - 6/20/15

[For PP users experiencing log-in/Send-Mail issues with Cox email accounts]

Cox Communications Tech Support staff confirmed early this morning they are continuing to address the ongoing log-in and send-mail issues with their email service. These problems have been occurring over the past 3 - 4 weeks.

For PP users, you may be getting various types of error messages when PP attempts to access ANY of your Cox email accounts (regardless of how you access the account - i.e. POP3, IMAP, etc). Errors which PP may display are: Authentication errors, Timed-out errors, Check username and password, Storage space unavailable, etc.

In addition, when you attempt to log-in to your Cox accounts on-line, there may be a significant delay waiting for your email page to load, and/or if the page does finally load - you may only see the various links on the left side of the page with the rest of the screen remaining blank. In other instances, you may receive an "Internal Server Error" message on your screen.

These recurring error messages tend to be sporadic/intermittent throughout the day and usually will resolve on PopPeeper's subsequent mail checks. Aside from contacting Cox Communications in your area, there's not much else to do except wait for Cox to fix the issues on their end, as this is not a problem with the PopPeeper program.
