Some emails take a long time to open - delay (resolved)

Post by killme »

When I get a security alert email from Google there is a delay when viewing the email. The Message Window opens and at the bottom of the window it says:

"Waiting for file:///C:/Users/Dan/AppData/Local/Temp/PPLB186.html..."

After about 20 seconds it will display my email message. If I then close the message window and open the same email again there is no delay. It's happening on at least 2 of my Gmail accounts that I get alerts for. Both accounts are set up to use IMAP.

It looks like this issue is fixed in v5. I found the most recent "security alert" that I had (Jul 17, so a little over a week ago) and it displays immediately in PPv5. I saved the message and then opened the file in PPv4 and I see the delay you're referring to.
