Hi Largo,

I'm Gaetan and had translated PP in French since 2003. I have almost finished the translation of PPV4.
I suggest that I take a look at your translation and correct mine with your suggestions if applicable. If it appears that I want to integrate several strings from your work I would suggest to add your name as one of the French translator.

Hey, largo, that's awesome! I used to provide a utility to do that (similar to PPLC), but it wasn't well-used and it was a pain to maintain.

Judging by the date, I assume that it's based on v4.0? Would you be willing to update it for v4.1? I'll post it on the translation page, regardless, but if you're willing to update it, I'll wait for that.

largo -- I assume that you used PPLC to assist in the update? The current PPLC is for v4.4, not v4.5 (there were no gui changes in v4.5 necessary for a PPLC update).

Also, I ran your file through PPLC's validation and there's a lot of "empty" values. Some of them don't need to be translated (e.g. "Oauth2" and "POP Peeper") but there's a significant number of them that should be. Could you please run the "Validation" in PPLC and fix these?

Also, there may be *one* value missed in the "SendMail" section (Dlg/id: 1101/1052 -- "Notes:")

Hi, largo!
I opened your French.plf and clicked on "Validation", which listed a number of "Empty" and "Possible Boundary Failure".

Hi, Matthew Wai

I corrected the file "French.plf" I think now it's OK
for "Show Potential Bondary Failure". I do not see what to do, it is the French language which is complex

I am afraid the Chinese language is even more complex.

Less I think seen the "Grammar and conjugation etc..." of the French language
I am French and…
not possible to do better, otherwise it will not mean anything in French
to see with "Gaetan" the translator of PopPeeper in French, because I only resume the translation to update.

Thanks largo! I really appreciate you taking over the French translation!

At first I was concerned that there were a couple of untranslated text, but according to google, "confirmation" and "options" are the same in French :)

Also, as a new translator, would you mind emailing me (support at esumsoft dot com) so I can provide you with some information?

Hello Jeff,

Here is the revised and updated translation of "PopPeeper 5.0 beta18" in French.
There are "Possible Boundary Failures" that I cannot delete and some date from the old translation, French language complex compared to English.
I attach to this message the file "French.plf" compressed into .rar.
In addition, some cells cannot be translated, see attached image (red box).
When will PPLC 5005 be available?

Thank you for your software that I have used from the start.

Best regards

Thanks for the update. Let me get back to you regarding the next update, which definitely needs to happen because a lot has changed since the last update... And hopefully nothing more needs to be added so we can finalize it...

I was a little surprised about the Theme Viewer components you highlighted, but after looking at what's in PPLC v5..4, I think it's just because those have all changed since that version of PPLC.
