COX Email: Service outage [RESOLVED] 04/19/2017

The Cox email service outage issue described below now appears to be resolved.

[For PP users with Cox Communications Email accounts]

As of 8:03 a.m. today, Cox advises they are experiencing a widespread service outage of their email platform.
The outage may affect any or all of your Cox accounts, particularly if you reside in the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S.

Description of what you may experience...

When POP Peeper attempts to access the account, you may receive the following error message:

"Error ([UNAVAILABLE] Account is temporarily unavailable.)

In addition, if you attempt to log-in via your browser, you may experience an unusually-long delay before your Cox Inbox page is displayed, as well as, the page may only show a few items down the left side, while the rest of the page is blank.

Cox Tech Support states they are working on the problem and hope to have the outage issue resolved later.
