Gmail: Username/password error?

Good morning
This morning poppeeper me this message " Gmail - Error login: Check login name and password "
From yesterday to today, I have not changed any login name or password in it poppeeper it in gmail.
It 's always all the same as yesterday. 'Cause me to this kind of error ?
and what can I do?

Just started happening to me to with Gmail. I haven't changed anything, but it's saying error with password?

Very odd, I just restarted Pop Peeper and now
Gmail is working, but my AOL account has this error:

Spoke too soon, seems AOL is working, and

Same issue here with login issue (three accounts). Happening on two pcs. Started occurring on 6.24.15. No changes had been made to accounts

Thanks to everyone who has reported their issues thus far!
[For any other PopPeeper users experiencing the issue(s) described in this topic, please read the following before posting]
1. Please confirm you are able to log-in to your affected Gmail accounts ON-LINE without any problems. If you are logged-in automatically - then you will need to log-out and log back in, to ensure Gmail is not displaying a captcha or requesting some other information.
2. Please include the complete text of any error message(s) you are receiving in PopPeeper in your post.
* - Jeff has already been contacted and the info requested above will better assist him in ascertaining the problem(s) and a resolution.

in gmail within regularly with current login and password which are those stored in poppeeper but that some problems can not enter as described above

Same problem here from June 25th in my three GMail account. Switched one of them to POP3 and works fine, but the other two (still with GMail account type) report "Login Error: Check your Login Name and Password."

Same problem with 2 out of my 3
gmail accounts, all configured the same, as
gmail type. All accessible on
gmail web page with same
login data as in poppeeper. What is strange is that one of the 3
gmail accounts doesn't encounter any problem.
Here is the error. Same error for the 2 problematic accounts :

An update to fix the GMail error -- Login Error -- has been released, WebMail v4.0.17. You can either wait for POP Peeper to auto-update, which will usually occur within 24 hours, or you can force an immediate update using this procedure:
1) On POP Peeper's main menu, select About POP Peeper under the Help menu
2) Ensure that both "Automatically check for updates" and "auto-update webmail plugin" are enabled
3) Press the "Check Version" button

Didn't work for me.
Still happening to all Gmail account with "gmail" in the config.
If I choose POP3 all works fine.
Any other suggestion on how to solve the problem?

Sorry to hear of your
Gmail issue. Thus far, you are the first person who's reporting the particular problem described. Since I'm not presently seeing any major service disruptions with
Gmail, it's unclear just what the source of your issue is.
* - I have contacted
Jeff and asked him to review your post here, as he may need additional info from you.
I recall you posted not long ago about a similar problem on June 7th, shown at the topic link below.

I'd provided some information to you at the time, and your last post in the topic indicated everything was back to normal, so I'm a bit puzzled as to why the issue has returned.

007me -- try logging into the account with your webbrowser; if you are automatically signed in, you must sign out and sign back in. GMail may be requesting something from you which is blocking POP Peeper. You may even be required to change your password.
If you have enabled 2-step verification, then POP Peeper will not be able to use the "GMail" method and you must use either POP3 or IMAP.
If POP3 works for you, then it surely means that IMAP would also work. In general, and especially for GMail, IMAP is the preferred protocol over WebMail or POP3.
