Auto check mail every 10 seconds?
Auto check mail every 10 seconds?
Is there a way to make pop peeper check email every 10-15 seconds instead of every 1 minute at the quickest?
Re: Auto check mail every 10 seconds?
Welcome to the forum maxvv,
If you go to "Tools" > "Options" > "Mail Check" tab (from main menu), you will see a "Minutes - Polling interval" setting where you can select the number of minutes that will transpire between when POP Peeper checks for new messages. It should be noted that it is definitely not recommended that you have POP Peeper check mail for new messages less than every 10 minutes since over the long term Email Providers will sometimes consider this suspicious activity that may in some cases trigger security measures requiring some level of feedback from the user to verify this level of frequent mail checks. (so keep in mind "Polling intervals" at a minimum of at least 10 minutes or more is highly recommended).
That said, if you have email accounts using IMAP ("Server type" setting in the Accounts "General" tab) as your email protocol and have IDLE enabled then in most cases the messages will arrive as of the time they reach the Email Server (some exceptions, i.e. Yahoo for example do not support IDLE, but most do), so in these cases the "Polling interval" setting will be irrelevant. But aside from using IMAP with IDLE your messages will get polled based on the setting you have in your "Polling interval" value referenced above.
