I have problems with email.it imap server.
Pop peeper always crashes when I check "IDLE" option on account settings. Also, Pop peeper crashes when I set "STARTTSL" option and 143 port.
email.it server is ssl capable and it use port 143.
When I set "No SSL" in the Pop peeper account settings the program doesn't crash but it doesn't find any emails even if they are present on the server.
I tried Pop peeper 4.11 and 4.2.
I don't have any other imap account, so I don't know if this is an email.it or a general imap problem

I think I've tried this before, but I tried creating an email.it account and they wouldn't have it; I guess you have to live in Italy. Regardless, I doubt that the problem is specific to the email account, there's probably a conflict with some other software that you're running.
What I'd suggest is:
1) Create a duplicate account that you set to use starttls and idle (disable it); this way, you don't have to keep switching your original account back&forth
2) Disable any potentially conflicting software you're running. Most notably, security software.
3) Test the starttls account in POP Peeper
4) If PP works, start enabling any software you disabled one at a time and repeat steps 3-4 until you find what crashes.
Let us know what you find.
One other thing -- some software, especially security, really get their hooks deep into the OS and disabling the software doesn't really disable it. So if you disable it and PP still doesn't work, I'd suggest trying rebooting into Windows Safe Mode and see if PP works in that mode.
btw, what version of SSL are you using -- check under main menu: Help / About

I rebooted in Safe Mode with Networking and I enabled STARTTSL in Pop Peeper but it crashes again.

Also, you said you don't have any other imap account, but your registered forum email address is at least capable of using imap. Any GMail, Hotmail/Outlook or Yahoo account would be capable of using IMAP with starttls. So, just create a new account in PP (using Accounts/Add) using one of those domains, and let PP set it up as IMAP and see if it works or not. That would allow us to eliminate possibilities.

Problem solved.
I did a clean reinstallation and I recreated all my email accounts.
Now everything is ok

Ok, glad to hear it. Possibly one of the files was corrupted.
