not receiving emails

Post by cjw7 »

For the past few days there are no incoming emails. It shows that it's logging in to accounts, but no emails come in except from 2 accounts.

Welcome to the forum cjw7,

1) What version of POP Peeper are you using and are all your plugins current (to check this click on "Help" > "About POP Peeper...")?

2) Are you able to log-in to the accounts on the web using your browser without any issues?

3) What type of accounts are they (i.e. Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail etc)?

4) What protocol (Server type) are you using for the problematic accounts? (i.e. Webmail, IMAP, POP3, to check this right-click on the accounts in the left Accounts List pane then click on "Edit Account..." in the context menu options listed. In the next window in the General tab look to see what the "Server type" is set at for each of the accounts).

5) Are you getting any POP Peeper errors for these problematic accounts? If so please provide the error information by clicking on the yellow exclamation in the lower right corner of the POP Peeper main interface page and select "Copy" in the Error Information window and then to paste that information in your reply in this topic, right-click in your post and select "Paste".

It would be very helpful for us to have the additional Error Information I mentioned by following the instructions in step 5. Doing this would provide us with the "Server type" used (mentioned in step 4) and help determine whether not being current in POP Peeper could be a contributing factor.

Also, are the two accounts that are working and getting messages also Netzero accounts?

Are these problematic accounts always getting errors on every POP Peeper "Mail Check"?

And when you log-in on the web using your browser for these problematic accounts, how many total messages are there that are displayed in the account(s) inbox(s) that do not get displayed in POP Peeper?

Thanks for the help.
