Suggestions: printing

Post by quaria »

Hello. I have three suggestions for printing.

1) Printing should bring up the printer dialog so that the printer can be selected and Printer Properties modified if needed (for instance, to enable 2-sided printing), instead of the default printer being used automatically.

2) Instead of the printed output having the TXT filename at the top-center of the printed pages that is created in the Temp folder, this should be blank for those people and needs for which a top-center header is inappropriate or unneeded. The TXT filename has nothing to do with the e-mail message or its content and looks very distracting and out of place --->> "what on earth is *that* doing there???"

3) There should be an option for selecting what font & font size to use for printing that is separate from the font and size for viewing on a screen.

Have a nice day and kudos to you at ESumSoft for a great program.

POP Peeper's print capability is admittedly not up to par. It sends the print command to your default text editor (ie. notepad, in many cases) and, as such, it doesn't allow for the standard print options.

As a work-around: if the message contains HTML, you can right-click on the body of the message and then you'll get the standard Print and Print Preview options (don't click on an image, you may not get the print options).
