Here's a new one... for me, anyway!
I have a few hotmail accounts that I check with PP. Some are still using Hotmail/Outlook server type and they're still working today.
Unfortunately, the ones that are IMAP are now giving me the error in the subject above, according to PP.
Looks like something's changed yet again!
Thanks in advance for looking into this.

Re: Error (User is authenticated but not connected.)
Morning CB, and thanks for reporting.
I can confirm the issue you're having, as one of my own Outlook IMAP accounts continued returning the same error as you're getting. The other two were not affected.
No problem logging-in to the affected account via Firefox browser.
[UPDATE]: As of 7:06 a.m. (US EST), it appears the problem with my own Outlook account has resolved, as PP is no longer showing any error messages & can successfully login to the account. It appears this was a server-side issue.
If the issue you're having does not clear-up, please post back and let us know.
Thanks again for reporting & best regards,

Re: Error (User is authenticated but not connected.)
Morning Pete!
It seems to have cleared up here as well, as all the IMAP accounts are now logging in and connecting without any errors reported.
As you suggest, it was likely a server side tweak that had unintended consequences... presumably other than with PP... and retweaked at their end.
Thanks again.
