Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
Jeff I can not seem to change the background color for both the account and message list:
I went to: Tools / PPtweaker
Select the "Interface" page
Find the "background color for account/message lists" and uncheck the "default" checkbox
Press the color box next to it and change the color
here a screenshot of my inbox background it is green I want to change it to white is this the same thing your talking about ?

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
Did you try selecting white and then pressing on the "Apply" button to see if that's what you want?
If it is what you want then press the "OK'" button and your done.
I've never done this before -- so I assume that is all there is to it.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
In your screen-shot you have "Default'" checked.
To be able to select a color you must have unchecked the "Default" box.
Then when you clicked the "Apply" button I would expect you to see the color change.
It looks like what you did was to check the "Default" box again -- apparently after selecting the white color.
If you want a different color (than default) you have to leave the default box unchecked (after you changed it) -- so then the color you selected will be the color you get.
So try it again -- but this time when your done do not check the "Default" box again.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
lakrsrool » I did all the steps did not work can you please show me a screenshot of your white background
Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
Please post a screen-shot of the same settings you posted above but after you did all the steps to make the change to another color.
Your screen-shot of the color setting after you made the change should look like this: Not like the screen-shot you posted above (that screen-shot you posted shows you are still using the default color).
Notice the default box is unchecked and the color white (which is what you say you want) is in the color selection box. Until you get the results as you see in the screen-shot I have posted your color will not be changed. If you still have a problem -- please post the screen-shot like you did before after you have made the color change.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
lakrsool I did this in theses two screenshots and got this background
Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
If you have clicked the PpTweaker windows "OK" button with the color selection set the way you have it in your screen-shot that you posted above then I'm not sure why your color did not change.
To be clear -- you have posted a screen-shot of your Inbox after you made the change - right?
We will have to wait for Jeff to take a look at this.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
Yes -- sportman40 -- Jeff will need to take a look at this because as far as I can tell based on what you have reportedly done you have completed the correct steps.
So we'll wait for Jeff.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
Those colors represent the junk evaluation of the messages. Green means Legit, Blue means unknown and Red means junk.
If you want to disable those colors:
1) From the main menu, select Tools / AntiJunk -> Settings
2) Select the "Actions" page on the left
3) Disable ALL THREE "Back color" checkboxes
4) Press OK and you should have the normal background color (or whatever you ended up changing it to in PPtweaker)

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
To disable the Junk Evaluation color codes by following each of the steps that Jeff posted it would like like this when your done with settings and ready to make the change by clicking on the "OK" button:
1) Uncheck each of the three "Back color" check boxes.
2) You will see the color box change to what you see pointed out for each of the 3 Junk evaluation color (appearing as empty which resembles a grey color)
3) Then click "OK"
Now you should see white for both the account and message list because of what you did yesterday by selecting the "White" color "Background color for account/message lists".
Let us know if you get what you want.
By selecting the Action page in the left pane ("Action" pointed out to the left must be selected) then you do the following:1) Uncheck each of the three "Back color" check boxes.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
You have said you want a "white" color instead of the color you have now for your messages -- this would replace those colors for Junk Evaluation so the messages would be "white" like you wanted.sportman40 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 2:53 pm lakrsool

If you want to keep "Junk Evaluation" colors then you cannot have the "white" colors you want for messages.
You have to decide which you want. But if you would rather keep the "Junk Evaluation" colors then your message list will look like it does now.

Re: All New emails going to Junk view ?
You can't have both -- if you want the Junk Evaluation colors then that's what you have now -- so you would want to leave it this way and not make the changes we are discussing now.sportman40 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 3:03 pm lakrsool

If you want the white color then you would not have the "Junk Evaluation" colors because these steps we are discussing now disables those colors for "Junk Evaluation" so that the white color will be displayed.
You have to decide which is more important to you.
Either leave things they way they are now and then keep the "Junk Evaluation" colors as they are (which as you see in your screen-shots is a "green" color representing "Legit" messages) or if you would prefer only "white" in your Inbox then do these steps posted by Jeff to disable the "Junk Evaluation" colors.
You cannot have both "white" and the also have the "Junk Evaluation" colors (which as mentioned is primarily "green" for "Legit" messages) -- you have to choose which you want sportman40 -- one or the other -- but both is not possible because doing one thing cancels the other.
Do you understand?
