sportman40 -- I recall you wanted to use Ariel with font size 11 for messages. You can do the same thing for your Accounts pane too -- but for now let us concentrate on just the messages -- OK

So before any more questions let's do the following below (so for now no more questions [-X OK):

First -- Have you watched the video Jeff asked you to watch?

Please watch the video (again even if you already have -- watch it again)

To make it easy to -- Just click on the word PLAY VIDEO to watch Jeff's video and keep track where the cursor goes and what is selected and then do each of the steps just as you saw in the video but you can go ahead and enter "Ariel" for the font with the font size 11 (instead).

We just want to know if this is what you want (by following the steps in the video) and then entering the actual values you want.

After watching the video just as a reminder: from the main menu (where you see "Messages") -- Click on "Messages" > "Select font..." (from main menu) as illustrated in screen-shot:
Messages - Select font.png
Messages - Select font.png (6.9 KiB) Viewed 12980 times
In the next window you see -- Enter "Ariel" in the "Font:" box and enter "11" in the "Size:" box and click the "OK" button.

Now take a look at your POP Peeper main page results -- do you see that both the messages and the column headers have changed and are what you asked for (when you entered those values mentioned above)?

If there is anything that you do not like or there is a problem with the results -- then please post a screen-shot of the entire main PP window and let us know what it is that you want different.

Please do this -- and then if you like the result you have in the Messages pane -- we can then start on making changes in the Accounts pane that will be the same changes you have made in the Messages pane. Or again if you want something different in the Messages pane we can discuss that after you have taken the steps above (shown in the video) to make these changes mentioned here.

Your screen-shot was of the Accounts pane -- not the entire PP main page (all of the Message pane was not included in the screen-shot).

Try this sportman40 -- (this has nothing to do with messages but instead it involves the Accounts pane) from the main menu go to "Accounts" > Select font..." see below for example the parts to select are circled:
Accounts font.png
Accounts font.png (6.06 KiB) Viewed 12973 times
you will then get the "Select Font... " window.

Take a screen-shot of the "Select Font" window and post that screen-shot in this topic.

sportman40 -- you are posting copies of screen-shot that I and Jeff have posted. These screen-shot does not tell us what you are getting (the screen-shot you posted was previously posted by Jeff. And the screen-shot of the steps to take was one of my screen-shots).

It is very important for you to be posting only YOUR own screen-shots results and not copies of others screen-shots -- we can only help with this if you post your results.

I have more steps for you to solve this -- but we must get the accurate information from you before we continue -- OK?

Let's try again: Go to "Accounts" then select "Select font" -- when you get the next "Select font" window -- please capture that screen-shot you see and post that screen-shot here in this topic.

It appears that you are posting the same screen-shot that I previously posted.

What I am asking you to do is to post a screen-shot of the next window you see after doing the steps in the screen-shot you just posted.

The screen-shot should be the Select Font window (for your Accounts pane -- because we are selecting "Accounts" from the main menu)

Do you understand what I'm saying and what I am requesting you to do?

If you are not sure please explain what it is that you think I am asking for?

If you do understand -- then please Click on "Accounts" then Click on "Select font..." and then when you see the next window take a screen-shot of that window and then post that screen-shot you took into this topic. Thanks

What I am attempting to determine -- is what the values are that you have in your Accounts "Select font" window that would hopefully explain why you get the results you are reporting. :D

^ Yes sportman40 -- that is what I want -- to get to the "Select font" window for the screen-shot you must start out by clicking on "Accounts" then "Select font..." (in the main window) -- you will then see the "Select font" window -- that is the screen-shot I would like you to capture and post in this topic.

Thanks :D

Again -- this will help us to determine what may be causing the results you are getting in your Accounts column (specifically the larger size fonts observed).

Did you add the word "Example" to the screen-shot?

If this is the accurate values of the font settings for the Accounts pane -- then you should not be getting the results you have been posting for that pane.

My apologies -- it is there in the actual dialog Interface (to my surprise).

OK -- so then if you look at your Account pane now are the fonts large like you have been posting?

The "Messages" menu is right next to the "Accounts" menu. These steps (#5-8) are exactly what was shown in the video posted earlier:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7403&start=120#p37704

At this point, I'm not sure there's much more we can do to get you on the right track. I suggest you watch the video and re-read everything that we've told you so far.

The difference is one sets font settings for Accounts and the other sets font settings for messages.

Please take a look below -- you will see the steps as outlined including additional detailed explanations on how to complete each step (please read carefully).
