POP Peeper v5.5.2 is currently available in the beta channel. This is available for PRO licensees and can be enabled in POP Peeper:
main menu: Tools / PPtweaker / Troubleshooting: "opt into early release / beta updates"
v5.5.2 adds Oauth2 support for Outlook-POP3 accounts and POP Peeper is now more assertive in recommending Oauth2 for Outlook accounts (because it will be required in a few months and this assertion was removed in v5.4.6 due to Outlook's continued issues with Oauth2).
It should also be noted that after you update to v5.5.2, you will need to re-authenticate your existing Outlook accounts for Oauth2 due to the addition of requesting POP3 permissions. You will receive errors for these accounts and you should then access the Error Overview (yellow '!' button on the bottom-right of the main window) and you will be able to 'Reset Oauth2' for each affected account.
(see reply for why this has changed)

Re: POP Peeper v5.5.2
An update on the last bit above -- v5.5.3 should avoid the issue of having to re-authorize all your Outlook accounts due to the new pop3 permission. What v5.5.3 will do is check if it needs the pop3 permission and not request it if you're using imap. Because the permissions requested should remain the same for v5.5.3 as v5.5.1, the existing oauth2 permissions will be sufficient and Outlook won't require you to re-authorize the account.
Note that if you switch your Outlook accounts to POP3, then you will still need to re-authorize to get the new pop3 permission.
My apologies to the v5.5.2 testers that had to re-auth their Outlook accounts!
