Hi my version pop peeper stopped working the ssl on 10/11/2024

Hi
1-my version pop peeper stopped working the ssl on10/11/2024 can it no longer update the ssl of the version I have?

2-Is it possible to transfer all accounts to the new version without recreating one at a time?...I'm angry :evil:

I'm not sure I understand what exactly the problem is, but let's start with -- what version of POP Peeper do you have? It's under main menu: Help / About.

I would suggest that you make a backup of your settings, but if you simply install the new version of POP Peeper over your existing, it should work.

Please post your current "SSL" version (and does the "SSL" CRC column = "Pass") as well as posting your PP version (it is in the same "Help/About" page.

An easy way to post everything about PP is to (from the main menu) go to "File" / "Error overview..." (Note: this will probably be an empty window) then press the "Copy Log" button and paste the information into this forum topic. Keep in mind to redact anything that you may consider personal (sensitive) before submitting the post into the forum.

I have 2 new versions where it bothers me to move all the accounts or create new ones... the basic version that I always used 2 weeks ago was this:

if I use the new version is there a way to move the old accounts to the new one without doing everything from scratch?...thanks?...that's why I'm angry :cry:

Please read Jeff's post (specifically quote: "what version of POP Peeper do you have?") that you still haven't replied to. I posted some additional comments as well regarding SSL as well as using "Error overview" to provide us with additional PP information that we would appreciate you posting ("pasting") to this topic (Note: you've replied to my last post but didn't provide what we are requesting from you). mjs -- massimo77mr's version was included in the screenshot; it's v3.8.1.

massimo7mr -- The version you're using is very old (v3.8.1 was released in 2011). As I said above, it *should* work simply by installing v5 over your current version, but with a version that old, there are too many variables to be 100% sure, so you should make a backup first as a safety net. If it doesn't transfer correctly, email me and we'll get it working.

ok [solved] I tried to install from v5 over the v3 file and it works, there are all the accounts....Good thank you very much, problem solved, I was wrong because I downloaded the pop peepers directly into a portable folder...thanks, regards, please don't make negative updates for win 7/xp because I need to use them too, thanks.

Glad that worked.

I can't make any promises regarding Win7 and older (or even win8.0) for POP Peeper v6. There are certain necessary features that require Win8.1+ and it may not be possible to keep backward compatibility. Specifically, I'm referring to the HTML engine that PPv5 uses to display HTML, but there are other features as well.
