The only access to this exchange server (work) is via the webmail client, but this requires us to keep IE open all day long if we want to know when/if we get new mail. It's irritating to say the least. I believe it's Exchange v5.5.

I'm looking for a way to access the email with a desktop based email client and came across this tool.

So, considering it's proprietary Microsoft stuff - I'm not expecting much but - would it be possible?

Are you using Outlook Web Access in IE? Pop Peeper does not have an interface for OWA.

...if it'll help with this project, after you used the term "OWA" here, I did another search and came across this:

It might be possible to convert the Python source to a language that is used to create PopPeeper -- that is if you're at all interested. I'll be taking a look at this Python code myself to see what I can come up with.
