johnwrites , Insert Attachments are only available in PP when the Send Mail protocol (of the PP-account) is SMTP .

This hint shows up when you hover the cursor over the Attach icon , as well as in PP Help .

johnwrites , this topic should have been opened in the Tech Forum , anyway ...

1- yes , the send-protocol may be changed to SMTP , if the Server accepts it (this is normally explained in the Servers documentation , alternatively you may ask here) :

you will need then to edit the PP-account > Send Mail tab > provide info for the first 5 boxes

2- open a PP-Compose-window , click View > Show Toolbar >
-- R-click over the Toolbar > click Customize > Add/Remove whatever you want > click Close

3- click PP-Help > Contents > Index > type Compose > Enter .
