Some have asked about how to use AOL with POP Peeper. I use Freepops to act as a gateway between AOL and POP Peeper (or an email client).

Freepops makes AOL able to have POP3 access. Thus AOL can connect to POP Peeper.

Download the latest version of Freepops. Download the latest version of AOL plugin and put it in the LUA folder. Set up POP Peeper for AOL with server name localhost and port number 2000. For log in name, use your full email address, ie, userid@aol.com

AOL has announced that AOL email storage will go to unlimited for AOL customers later this year. Storage is now 250MB. So the Gmail effect continues. (Everyone continues to complete with Gmail large storage offering.)

Does POP Pepper allow normal POP (not POP3)? Is not working for me. Any plug-ins?

Yes, Pop Peeper has some plugins, but not to allow polling of external accounts. This has nothing to do with AOL. Please start a new thread.
