Can PP retrieve messages from Embarqmail.com ?

Can i retrieve messages from Embarqmail.com? If so, how do I do that?
There are some websites, like this one, that suggest it can be accessed using standard POP3/SMTP:
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.embarqmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.embarqmail.com
(for SMTP, enable "server requires authentication")
