Hi, as usual in this country we have been affected by frequents electricity cuts, last night was a storm and this morning after the Internet connection returned again the gmail accounts stopped working saying that suspicious activity was detected so I have to restore the password again. I have done this many times but I am tired of doing this every time the electricity power goes off, I don`t know what to do to solve this as Gmail always forces me to change the PW.
Any idea,
TEEH

The issue is probably due to the way in which log-in security is handled by Gmail.
You could try these links for Gmail Help:
1)
Gmail Help Center (besides various categories of Gmail help there is a link to a forum on this website)
2)
Free GmailHelp.com Membership (there's a lot of specific help categories provided by the free Gmail Help Membership)

The solution is to access the accounts using IMAP instead of GMail. This blog dates back to over a year ago, but it describes the details and how to switch to IMAP:
http://www.esumsoft.com/blog/gmail/
(fyi: all you should need to do in PPv4 is change the server type to IMAP and PP will make the other changes, but you may need to refer to step#3 in the IMAP faq).
